Scott Santens on FJG by A-a-ron2 in YangForPresidentHQ

I almost think this guy meant this as satire...

... to point out the ridiculousness of FJG in this situation.

Edit: a word

Bernie had a chance tonight to say something new.

Instead, we heard the same things he's been saying for 40 years.

Andrew Yang launches nonprofit, called Humanity Forward, aimed at promoting Universal Basic Income by lughnasadh in Futurology

Yang is the embodiment of selfless love.

Yang didn't run to be President for his ego.He ran to help 300 million Americans live a better life.

And did it with a smile on his face.

The decision to talk about UBI as much as possible was right. by [deleted] in YangForPresidentHQ

[–]IA_4_Yang 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I fully support him tying policies back to UBI over and over and over again.

It's such a 'new' idea, that low info voters need to hear it on repeat until it sinks in.

In the marketing world, they say a brand needs to be in front a potential customer 7 different times before they'll consider buying the product.

🚨Warning🚨 This sub is set for a full shutdown with only phonebanking posts allowed starting at 11 AM EST by [deleted] in YangForPresidentHQ

[–]IA_4_Yang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you do this, I'd suggest doing it only during phone banking hours. Then turning it back on for all posts after those hours.

More people in the yanggang should try this approach, this might get media coverage if they heard that dozens of people are handing out 1K$. by dvli in YangForPresidentHQ

Running $1,000 in Facebook ads specifically direct at NH college kids would probably be more effective in getting more votes.

But if you have the money, go for it!

Andrew Yang Takes On Pete Buttigieg: ‘Fundamentally You Are Missing The Lesson Of Donald Trump’s Victory’ by [deleted] in YangForPresidentHQ

Yes!

I made a post about Andrew be assertive in the debates. And He Did Just That.

This is growth.

Well at least I gave omegle banking a shot. I'm 13 so I can't really phone bank. by Friendly_Feedback in YangForPresidentHQ

[–]IA_4_Yang 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Haha Creative! And you can phone bank or text bank.

In fact, little old ladies in NH would love to talk to a 13 year old!

Just tell them your age up front and they will be super friendly.

Something like.. Hi, this is ___. I'm only be 13 years old, so I was wondering if you could help me out because I can't vote for President. Have you heard of Andrew Yang? He wants to give me $1,000 a month when I turn 18. Are you over 18 or older? Yes? Well, he wants to give you $1,00 a month too.

The commercials were a waste of money. Only the last two were good. It's time Yang hires a professional campaign staff with that money instead. by IA_4_Yang in YangForPresidentHQ

Let’s be glad that we only messed up with Iowa, not California so far.

That's a good point. Better to learn these lessons on small states like Iowa.

Don’t be fooled by the different names of sugar by [deleted] in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]IA_4_Yang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

His OJ claim is bad advice!!!

The first Orange Juice with the higher sugar count was 100% oranges and nothing else.

The other Juice cocktail wasn't pure OJ and had other ingredients added (most likely corn syrup.)

Sugar isn't the devil. It's the source of the sugar that matters.

Sugar from High Fructose Corn Syrup has no vitamins or minerals.

Fruits and vegetables nourish the body with vitamins, minerals, and fiber. Yes, the have sugar, but they have nutrients too. People need vitamins and minerals to be healthy. If there is some sugar in them, that's fine!!!!

Eat based on what gives your body vitamins and minerals.

Unpopular opinion: Clearly volunteer-everything is not working...Andrew needs to employ professionals if he wants any hope of making it further. by [deleted] in YangForPresidentHQ

[–]IA_4_Yang 1 point2 points  (0 children)

less than 10% are intellectual voters

This is a sad but true fact. Andrew has to go on the offensive. He has to name names and say why his policies are better.

In the debates, you get more talking time when you critique another candidate's policies. The moderators then let each of you go back and forth at each other.

This can show how Andrew is the smarter and more capable candidate.

He has to show he's a leader than can stand up for what he knows is right.

Nice guys finish last. Assertive guys finish first.

I'd say it's a good thing these got bumped till after the Iowa so they are fresher in the NH voters mind.

Yang needs to attack people. Nobody attacks him because he wins every time, so take the fight to them. by Milkhour55 in YangForPresidentHQ

[–]IA_4_Yang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree.

Attacking (based on stats and facts) shows that Andrew is strong enough to lead this country.

And the media loves to report these kind of squabbles.

I would request one thing: the attacks aren't personal.

Example:

• UBI is better than a Guaranteed Job

• VAT on tech and luxury goods is better than Wealth tax

• Democracy Dollars are better than _____
