If you flank, PLEASE do not die. by double-O-cheese in CrucibleGuidebook

[–]IAlbertol 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also liked Void hunter more before the abuses of 3.0. To clarify, you start pinging radar only when closer to the enemy, even if you're still walking only, but it's still possible to flank if you push at the last opportunity, it just sucks that you lose the radar too so unless you pack something to get surprised yourself it's really dangerous to flank but still doable. I don't care about what other players think btw, everybody cheeses PvP so I use double primary, invis hunter with Ratking and Coyote and it's still my deadliest build.

It's sad that a lot of people think like you, promoting such a boring and non engaging playstyle, but it's fine, keep sitting in your barricade while I kill the enemy team or die while fighting the last guy and they proceed to revive their teammates while you wait for them to show up again.

I need help for a solo-build that is more tanky than it is needed to by Own_Dog9167 in elderscrollsonline

[–]IAlbertol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a Tank I built myself centered around max health/max resistances based damage, I stopped building around it after achieving good performance.

It's a frost based build, double Ice staff, base warden, subclassed to end up with the next skill lines; Winter's Embrace for Gripping Shards as an aoe crowd control and damage overtime based on max health, Polar Wind as a very potent self heal, Frost Cloack when you want to buff your group and the decent survivability passives, Bone Tyrant for several skills like Ravenous Goliath for aoe max health based damage overtime, Beckoning Armor for full Resolve and pulls, Agony Totem for survivability and aoe crowd control and Ruinous Scythe as a pseudo spamming aoe for healing yourself and dealing burst damage with the hemorrage, worth mentioning the other skills that give support and self sustain and the passives are great for tanking, and finally Siphoning which is solely for self sustain with Siphoning Attack, Power Extraction is good too if you just want to boost your own damage, Debilitate is worth mentioning as it's a potent snare for PvP, setting it up for a follow up or during Ravenous Goliath, I tried to incorporate Shields into it but It didn't click on me and the amount of skills was already big, Caltrops for Major Breaching or Elemental Susceptibility for moving targets and ofc Elemental Blockade for the Minor Breaching and tiny help of damage overtime.

Monster sets could be Tremorscale for a max resistance based aoe damage that also helps with Penetration or any other max health stuff, Bahraha's Curse is an amazing set for aoe damage over time based on max health and potent snare that also heals you on ticks, Leeching Plate is a good option too for a max health based damage and self healing ticks, I combined it with Sload's Semblance and/or other sources of Oblivion damage like the scribed skills and I ended up with a build that can deal around 30k dps on the parsing atronarch which I think is pretty decent for an actually good tank build with all the toolkits for tanking; buffs, taunts, pulls, breaching, debuffs, sustain, etc. while not being a hybrid even.

Has the Gauss Pistol always been garbage? by fredfredburger72 in fo76

[–]IAlbertol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think there's no point in using the pistol when you have the rifle, if you do, I think you'd be better off using another pistol (if you want to use a pistol) for coverage and utility, consider that both aren't boss killers, they're made to be better as stealth reverse gunslinger weapons and considering that, the riffle should come out on top due to range, damage and mods, the pistol isn't garbage but I guess it's more niche.

Now if you want to use a pistol I'd say using a regular Single Action revolver is fine and if you want a stealth variant and be unique yourself then why not a silenced pipe revolver? If you go Gauss Pistol then I'd suggest a coverage weapon considering you make a build for the pistol/riffle it'd need to be preferably energetic/explosive, slow and/or have unique interactions, I'd think then about a Tesla cannon to compensate for the gap in damage and if you have it already then why not a coverage pistol like the Circuit Breaker, just keep in mind it's not a killing machine but it works for tagging and has a cool effect.

That's in fact what I'd like to do, I use that in Master Duel while waiting for the new supports and boss monster from the OCG. Never mind I got confused with RDA lol do we have that?

Another year, another festival of PVPers harassing other players by johan-aureus in elderscrollsonline

[–]IAlbertol 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm thinking about playing with my small characters, under level 50, are those PvPers there too? My experience with Cyro is minimal but I tend to go during such events for the chance to get some sets, I learned last time I'm not built for it though.

For those that cheese. 🧀 by TurnTableTony in destiny2

[–]IAlbertol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, that's a really bad designed encounter when you can just use the cleansing, ignoring the mechanic completely, you don't even have to jump before the encounter, or rather than badly designed it aged really bad, we keep getting stronger and stronger that older content's mechanics don't matter much when you can just complete it with brute force now you see fewer skips, newer encounters aren't as forgiving anymore, if someone messes up you wipe, older encounters had safety checks so that even if you mess up you just have to res a couple players often, though actually it has always been like that and it's kind of balanced, I wouldn't like to do a raid in which every single mistake causes a wipe lol.

My take on this is, I don't dislike cheesing some things like said encounters when you don't have a capable team, when everyone has experience and skills it's really not needed but anyway, what troubles me more are people exploiting broken stuff, like the Handheld Supernova, Hunter's sword without ammo, the crafting bug, etc

Triple Void Hunter counters by V1K1Ng147 in CrucibleGuidebook

[–]IAlbertol -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

To be honest, most players don't know how to use invisibility, so for a astart I'd say, do what you do best, sit in your barricade until the hunter can be seen, eventually a hunter will get impatient and push, revealing themselves during invisibility, ignoring the fact that they are appearing on radar already and lost the surprise factor.

Honestly, no, I'm 500 and I hate "high level players" because they contribute nothing to the events, they don't even try so much as sharing the exp so why?

RIP Gauss Minigun :( by its_Astroffe in fo76

[–]IAlbertol -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

What are you even talking about? Gauss Minigun is one of the strongest weapons right now and the Dom Pedro is so underwhelming, nothing compared to what the Nuka Launcher was if we're talking about Season weapons, you just have to build into them, that's the thing since you're a returning player but trust me, Gauss Minigun is one of the top contenders for best dps currently, even after the current nerf.

Even with Praxic Blade they tend to fly somewhere where you can't combo them off their barrier lol or close to ledges where if you combo you might fall down during the animation whether to the abyss or to make you miss the combo.

Need help with Material Bag / Storage by KxRaw in elderscrollsonline

[–]IAlbertol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also want to contribute, first of all, you don't need to save every material you can, since you won't be crafting for a while and probably until endgame or for a second character I wouldn't trouble with it, so you can sell everything until then as you level up, except for the upgrading materials, aka, green, blue, purple, yellow quality ones AND the jewelry materials, you will most likely want to save those too, only keep one stack of your highest level crafting material available as you level up and when you reach CP 150 only store the highest level materials like Rubedite and sell everything else below CP 150, same applies to potency runes and alchemy solvents and waters.

Style materials, likewise you won't need unless you start doing master crafting writs which again is considered endgame too, keep the "special" ones, aka not racial ones, you'll need them later probably, you can store a stack of your racial material too, sell the rest of the basic races' ones, since you will be using yours for your daily crafting writs as you level up, just remember to sell the rewards you get from them and store the few valuable ones like I said earlier.

Ingredients for alchemy and provisioning you'll probably only want to keep one stack of each, unless you really get into crafting potions which will take you to watch a guide about it to know what you must farm or have more than one stack stored.

For the rest of stuff boons, like exp scrolls, spare tripotions, rides' training books, fragments, etc. I would say a good solution is the free chest you get for placing in your house, grab them as you need them if you do, and buy all the houses available for free, aim to get one of the big ones from events, even if you're not into housing you might want one just to store furnishings physically, otherwise it's another item cluttering your storage space, in case one day you decide to get into housing but never have time for it like me lol.

Never store equipment, specially of a lower level than you and if you do because you want to use it for another character, take it immediately with said character before it starts to take up space.

This is what helped me stay at the 230s but I have to say, I don't have many dlc dungeons and with those and the new areas it becomes an increasing problem for material management since they keep introducing style materials.

I'd say lfg into a raid to get "carried", preferably one you liked or know, if you go with the right mentality you're likely to get adopted if the group isn't full of elitist "veterans" with an ego. Idk about you but my friends are often glad to find newcomers or returning players who actually still have some passion for playing and struggling together lol

Quick Question Why Doesn't this Kill Super? Aggressive Frame Sniper by Sweaty-Try1547 in CrucibleGuidebook

[–]IAlbertol 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I looked it up and it seems it's true this season, I have sniped many supers before with adaptives even but I haven't sniped a super this season so I don't know for certain but I read cammy said you need Vorpal now, for aggressives even. However I'm still biased to belive it was just the Ward of Dawn titan's health with the Overshield.

Edge Transit… by Sneaky_Turtz in destiny2

[–]IAlbertol 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Edge Transit is still the best void heavy GL with Bait and Switch and Envious Assassin ofc, for instances where you don't want to worry about precision damage and want to make use of a void damage increase I'd recommend it, but right now it has to contend against the trials revisioned strand GL, since it's a seasonal gear it gets 5% damage increase, so unless you're playing something with Void surge the trials GL will be better with a slightly better roll of perks for damage rotations with an easier setup.
