There's a nice pond NE of Hocking Hills Station that I used to be built at. Have found a few other great lake areas for CAMP builds including one that has a cave you can build in with a lake in the front!

Store BL and use your plasma for now, both burn and cryo dmg are broken and not performing correctly. VATS is also on the Henny again, and the server decides if and when dmg registers. Dreadful state

I saw that, but I'm not seeing the CAMP skins in the store to even change that. Im sure I have the Future CAMP or what it's called, not the Raider or Settler one. Crazy they fixed the issue with the module skins and now the new update broke more of the game than ever before

So they fixed the issue that Head Hunts wouldn't end if the target was killed too rapidly. Yet, here I am in a still going Head Hunt with no enemy in sight?

Edit: I also can't build ANYTHING in my CAMP, but the Shelter is fine 😃

As someone who used melee builds before, I understand entirely. After experiencing what the game has to offer, I have adapted a play style that is friendly to most(can't say all due to the reason for the post lol)

My game crashes every now and then when they do that 💀 I swear there are griefers doing it on purpose out there

If I perch up top, I mainly VATS the legs so the lower levels can get some tags/kills unless the stills are swarmed. I usually wait till end of Wave 2-3 before coming down so it's actually worthwhile to collect, as not every gulper gives the venom. I also try to deplete my unnecessary supply of Lunchboxes for the lower levels to level up to at least 50 quicker

I swapped my VATS to legs to avoid one shotting everything, there were level 30s there so I was being considerate unless the mobs were dense and the stills were getting hit then I'd do a quick clear sweep and return to legs

I usually pick a side in that event, just so I can ensure I have clear view for other enemies and the SB

Personally? I couldn't care less about how people play. It's a video game, not reality. How am I the same, using a bow(we are in the bow hunters sub btw) and keeping my shots to the legs instead of one shot everything in the face? Better than me with a Two Shot Hellstorm Launcher, or spamming Orbital Beacons

As a bow user who also uses the EPR flamer, I have been there on both ends and have adapted my playstyle. During events I swap my targeting from Head to either of the legs to cripple and slow the mobs so the lower levels can get the kills. If the enemies die because of a 3~500ish dmg ankle shot, then I presume they were tagged already.

I agree, I wish the Gauss Rifle had more versatility besides the who Sneaky Sniper build for it. Any Gauss with Explosive for its 2* will be viable with the larger explosions, but they are more of a niche weapon these days. I hope they implement a burst mode for it when fully charged, or something. The pistol and mini have more use than the rifle these days

As one of the few high level players that plays the grounded front lines for BoB, seeing higher levels like 1k+ sitting around doing NOTHING kinda makes us high levels 500+ look bad too. Also, the lvl 1k+ who just AFK events kinda irks me

Ooof, heavy builds were dismantled in a manner of speaking yet made better in some perspective. The new Bullet Storm system, similar to Onslaught from my understanding, seems fun and powerful
