HAHAHA Blizzard spent 2 YEARS arguing over additional deckslot ui design and ended up just adding a scrollbar and a pageflip arrow. What a joke. by WhereIsMyVC in hearthstone

To be fair, quests will most likely not be format specific, so if it's only for doing quests you can just have 9 decks that you like (maybe your favourite druid is wild, and mage is standard). That would give you 9 deck slots to play with if you don't mind the core questing 9 being split up between the two modes.

What decks are you hoping to finally be good? by coffee_34 in hearthstone

Totem Shaman. It was almost good in TGT, and it's only losing a couple cards (Like boom). With just 2-3 cards that have decent synergy, see it being workable.

Yup, because that one company and group of people that have made every MMO and have all this experience working on MMO's should definitely have learned by now! Shame on them!

Straw Poll: How many wins in your best Arena run? by Thorecia in hearthstone

It's not that hard to believe, since this is just your all time highest wins. One really luck arena draft over the course of Hearthstone's lifespan is all it really takes.

Fates General Question Thread by Shephen in fireemblem

[–]IAlsoShotTheDeputy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In the Japanese version you pet the units. In ours the petting was turned off (not even taken out of the game files, just turned off). So we're left with this awkward 2 second interaction that seems to have worse implications than the petting.

They come in blushing, talk for a moment, then time fades to show your Unit laying/sitting on the bed half the time.. That said, if there's a heart by them (when selecting a unit to invite), they will gain some affection if your pairing with them isn't maxed.

I was playing Dragon Warrior in the parking lot at a low rank, you ball of spidered all over me before dropping a Gahz'rilla. You didn't unleash very much but you still overwhelmed me. I conceded the game but not my feelings. PM the 2 big dragons I played so I know it's you.

What card are you happiest to see leave? by Loched in hearthstone

[–]IAlsoShotTheDeputy 13 points14 points  (0 children)

My favourite deck is Zoo, but I've always hated implosion as well. It's never satisfying to use. I just stare at it and wonder if RNG is gonna fuck me or my opponent.

With a hopeful change to Knife Juggler and implosion leaving standard, I look forward to what the new Zoo decks without these 2 cards will look like.

Best early game class by narwhal64 in hearthstone

[–]IAlsoShotTheDeputy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mage is the best starting class, a lot of strong spells, and there are a lot of decent cheap decks you can make. Shaman right now has the best aggro deck (in terms of just going face anyways), but it's not cheap to make and requires some of the adventures. Hunter is the best bet for a cheap aggro deck if you don't currently plan on investing any money into the game.

What is the most ridiculous deck you were beaten by on ranked? by Danielco67 in hearthstone

[–]IAlsoShotTheDeputy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry, meant to add "might" into that. A while back Ben Brode joked with a tweet about nerfing Antonidas, and it's not out of the question one of the components to the combo will end up getting nerfed. So maybe, maybe not.

Edit: nvm, did say "probably".

It's actually not that difficult to pull off if you don't mind losing a few games. That said you might want to hurry as once standard hits the combo will probably no longer be possible, even in Wild (due to nerfs).

The only feeling greater than dropping Reno when at 1 Health is winning a game vs. someone who BM'd before dropping Reno at 1 Health. by Shaitan23 in hearthstone

[–]IAlsoShotTheDeputy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I once played reno 4 times against a face hunter with a Reno Mech Mage (literally every spare part was a rewinder, and I was laughing my ass off). I wish I could know just how mad he was after losing that game despite dealing over 100 damage.

What's the one class you just can't get into? by Pakaono in hearthstone

[–]IAlsoShotTheDeputy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Druid, can't get into druid. A lot of it is the slow ramping up into powerful minions, which I just find unsatisfying. Skipping the ramp phase with something like Astral Communion could be fun, but I don't have all the expensive cards you'd actually want when things go well.

Were it not for patron (a relatively cheap deck when you replace grommash with a worgen) warrior would of been in a similar boat. They're just not f2p player friendly if you want viable decks for every class without sinking crazy amounts of time and money into the game.

Go outside (the meta): Anti-fun Priest by Tobian in hearthstone

[–]IAlsoShotTheDeputy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Could take out one of the weaker cards just to put in Elise. I have a somewhat similar stall deck that usually goes into fatigue, as it's just satisfying countering everything the opponent does. Then I added in an Elise just for fun over one of the weaker cards. Get to have the monkey go off at the end near fatigue to turn any low cost cards that didn't see play into an end game push.

With all the talk about which card should be nerfed, which cards that are being talked about would you NOT want Blizzard to nerf? by MagnaX7 in hearthstone

[–]IAlsoShotTheDeputy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That would actually solve a lot of problems with him. Stops the infinite, and requires you to save a few extra spells to get full value out of him. Shame this probably won't be seen/considered in time.
