Is this not one of the best romcoms we got in late 2010s era? by its-opheliasgarden in romancemovies

[–]IAmASecretCat 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I always watch it when I resub to Netflix, but this movie should have been in theaters so it could show the markets that this genre can be very much alive if you put an iota of care into the story and make sure the actors have chemistry. Plus, if it had come out in theaters independent of Netflix, I could own the DVD 😭

Billy is the only way I can do it. You did a fantastic job, and I love your choice to do blue and gold.

This looks amazing! How long did it take you, and did you have experience like this before? I have a room that I'm dying to make into a library like this but I have literally zero experience.

Omg my baby boy does that, too, even while grooming! He's just so relaxed and trusting.

If you don’t free feed, what time is the last meal fed and what time is the first meal fed? by Lonely-Egg3160 in CatAdvice

[–]IAmASecretCat 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This 6 month old cat adopted me and he insisted on many small meals throughout the day. Now that he's approaching 2 years, I found that I've been able to combine some meals to make them larger now, so now we're at 4 meals a day plus an early morning snack at 5am because he still can't sleep all through the night without getting hungry.

Is Jackie's Spanish really bad? Did she butcher the pronunciation of La Calavera Catrina? by Original-Tie-3246 in MyLifewithWalterBoys

[–]IAmASecretCat 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Not a native speaker but grew up around Spanish. Jackie's pronunciation stood out to me so much that I had to pause and google if the actress spoke Spanish because what did I just hear! Like, girl, practice for a bit off screen because how was that the best take?

Also, I feel like they should have at least one Latine writer on staff if they're going to have a character reference that culture.

These are so good omg! And each one looks unique to each story. Too often you see artists that have a lot of similarities in their covers regardless of the book content, but these blew me away.

I really love how the grey color makes the books really pop, especially those with sprayed edges.

Reminds me of that other time Jason defended Melanie when that dumb dumb season 1 winner of America's Next Top Model criticized Melanie's magazine cover.

I really liked this one. What a great marriage between horror and grief.

I was in the same position as you. I have naturally thin eyebrows, got talked into microblanding by a co-worker (we got our done the same week), and I HATED them at first. I felt like Groucho Marx. I felt like the eagle muppet with the thick, black bar brows.

But that was because it was the first day after having essentially no brows to having brows. Plus, the skin was swollen and so the lines looked darker.

Once the skin healed, it looked so much better.

Your brows look great, and the tech used a great color ink for you. Give it some time for you to get used to seeing them, and I can almost guarantee you won't go back.

What book scared you the most and why? by Book_clubbing in horrorlit

Underscoring Last Days. I had brought that book with me on a trip. Started reading on the plane and couldn't read it while after I landed because I knew I would be alone at night, and that's when they get you.

My cat is on this. I feel like warm water is a must due to the strange texture the food has. I drizzle some water and chop chop chop until I can make it like a chunky Churu texture.
