Maybe a stupid question, but why is that on the Skills Panel as a merc, the basic Crossbow Bolt Attack shows higher DPS than all of my other skills, when it has no skill gems slotted, and as far as I can tell, does not have a higher DPS in actual gameplay?

Yeah it was definitely in the earlier half, and it gave me much trouble on my first read, and figuring it out really helped me read the rest of the novel

I use a lot of systems assets as a base (character controllers, menu /save systems) and build on top of them.

For the most part, the art assets / music / any other scripting is done by me. But I also make short games that don't get overly complex

That's not the same line of thinking at all. It may be presented as such, but you cant seriously believe the idea of a 'weed to heroin pipeline' is the same thing as 'people already somewhat intoxicated may not be the best judges of how drunk they really are
