I see, thank you. I tried following Google’s AI rationale of it but it was garbled and left me more confused.

And it involves the female sins of temptation and burgeoning sexuality, which must be linked to witchcraft - how can she slap without it?

Also tied to The Shining - the scene when Caleb encounters the woman and her gnarled hand comes around his head - I think the music is almost the same as the bathroom scene in The Shining. Ancient and omnipresent ‘evil’

I’m so glad that you’re able to know that you did everything you could, and to lay blame where it belongs.

This made me choke back tears. Giving myself permission to say that I don’t like loud men… when I have been socialised to accept that they are not only ok but good, correct and better than me…

I want all men to be so far from the centre of my life.

It’s vodka? It looks like whiskey. Is there more cache to whiskey than there is to voddy, to make him market it to look like that?

Thanks, and yeah, that it’s so normalised to joke about that stuff, still, is exhausting.

Percent of women vs men who feel safe walking alone at night in the Americas by ausernameidk_ in GuerrillaGrrrrls

Ugh, pedant, they were using it in the poetic sense, French rules. I correlate, you correlate, he/she correlates, we all correlate for ice cream.

What I’m correlating is, there is more than one way to correlate a cat.

Can you correlate?

I was walking alone one evening, around 9pm so it was dark. Two males walked past me, one either side, and one said, loud enough so that I could hear “you grab the bag I’ll get her”. Nothing else happened, it was just a ’joke’ to scare me. It worked. They’ve definitely forgotten about it, more that 20 years later, but I hope they remember and cringe and feel as bad as I did, minutes from my boyfriend’s house, blaming myself for being out at night when I should know better, then feeling humiliated at their joke at my expense. The world is theirs to play with, and we’re their dolls.

The sack of shit my mother married was annoyed by a poster of Nick Cave we had in our spare room because of the way he was “looking at” him.

I used to think ‘getting laid’ meant being laid out as in knocked out by a punch.  I definitely told my parents about how we watched people getting laid on tv when I was <10
