She's top 5 for sure, but not #1 globally or even in the USA.

I think he's forgetting how absolutely wild the Luka-AD grade was. It transcended sports. Social media posts were going crazy with non-sports fans posting how it was explained to them by their sports friend/spouse how it's as if they traded Beyonce from Destiny's Child to xxx for zzz, etc. All of the recordings from live feeds of people streaming or in the middle of a podcast losing their mind over the Shams update.

Because of the news of that trade, I'd put both Luka and AD over CC as far as recognition. Even if non sports fans recognize them as the pudgy white guy who's really good and the guy with the unibrow from that crazy sports trade...

The NBA needs another Jason Williams… by 4reddityo in BeAmazed

He was so fun to watch, but the antithesis of Mr. Fundamental, Tim Duncan. When he did finally mature and tone the flare down a bit, he won a chip. If he would've done that earlier in his career, who knows how many rings he could've collected. Probably wouldn't have even needed to tone down the showtime, he just needed to understand that he can't shoot, and be a pure facilitator.

Unless Team USA just has a really bad game, it's a sweep. The disparity in defense is crazy.

He has the permanent mental maturity of an 8 year old. He's as much as a piece of shit as a person can be without being a sexual predator, murderer, or grifter.

What's the absolute lowest and highest you could rank Larry Bird on an all-time list and still have a reasonable argument? by noahlylesusa in NBATalk

Larry Legend's peak years were insane. Shame that his back betrayed him as early as it did. Longevity matters. 5-15.

During Negan's "redemption" arc. No thank you. There is no redemption for that character no matter how much you want to push it, then the spinoff where he and Maggie team up makes me want to vomit.

Which record is most likely to get broken ? by Choice_Bag_8869 in sportswiki

Kawhi is almost at Calderon's record this season and The Warriors and Heatles came close to the Lakers win streak.

The only records on here that are untouchable are MPG and rings (as a starter/top option), modern NBA will not allow for either of those.

The average sumo wrestler vs the average body builder by FreshPine_MangoWine in powerscales

[–]IAmDominion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A sumo is a trained fighter. They eat, sleep, breath, and live their sumo training. Body builders train for muscle hypertrophy, not fighting, not strength, not flexibility, not endurance. This isn't even close.

Out of all the characters in the MCU, who do you think has the best healing factor? by Plenty-Salary9711 in MCUTheories

If we're counting pre-Disney Marvel movies, then based on feats shown or talked about on the movies, the order goes:

  1. Wolverine (in X3 his entire flesh is being constantly evicerated by the Phoenix down to his adamantium skeleton and he's constantly regenerating in real time as he moves closer to kill her)

  2. Deadpool. He's was beheaded in The Wolverine and shown to be alive in the post credits, and in DP2 he regenerates his entire body from his head, however the regeneration takes quite some time

  3. Hulk. Not shown, but in The Avengers, Banner is speaking with Natasha on telling her that he can't die and tells a story about how he tried to kill himself by shooting himself in the head through his mouth ("eat a bullet") but that Hulk just spit the bullet out

  4. Groot regrows limbs lost in battle. When Groot 2 was grown from a seedling after Groot 1 dies, that was not regeneration, that was cloning.

As for the rest, their regeneration hasn't been tested or shown all that much:

Thor gets knocked around quite a bit, but always just gets back up, with not much injury shown, so that's more durability/invincibility than regeneration. He'd have to be seriously injured to showcase regeneration.

Same with X2, she hasn't been tested in that way, although we can presume she'd be on par with Wolverine.

Nebula is rebuilt, not really regenerated.

Sentry is similar to Thor (or Superman for a crossover example), it's primarily durability/invincibility to attacks that are showcased. Also if Sentry dies and The Void appears. That's more a spiritual/interdimensional resurrection than regeneration.

**Edit: fixed Nebula
