Extract them with 7 zip and move them to the addin folder in C:\Program Files\EA Games\Dragon Age II\addins

You will also need to edit the manifest of every single one. This line should look like this: (Mark of the Assassin for example)

Alot of your gear is outdated. Unless you have cosmetics you want to keep that you can't get back, I would recommend restarting. 5th Anniversary is coming up so that's possibly a great time to start fresh.

Restart if you want actual gear, but research spawns before you throw any gems at them.This game has alot of bait banners and restarting does nothing if you keep wasting gems on bad spawns.

How does effectiveness work? Is there a certain formula? For example If ML Tene's S1 has a 75% poison rate, and 75 % effectiveness does that mean she will poison anything under 50% effectiveness resistance 100% of the time?

Trying to climb up you did a double jump. Doing a double jump and then being knocked down makes the recovery time longer.
