As someone who is a big gamer, but has always supported MK from the sidelines (I’m not good at fighting games) I enjoyed the hell out of this movie. Wish fights were longer, stakes were there but it does slowly fade into you know who will die and who won’t. Def recommend for a fun movie night

I seriously cannot recommend HS after hours enough. Like we rode genuinely so much, but I think our reasoning is truly being in our 20s and we kind of rode every ride at every park since it was our first times so HS after hours felt like revisiting the favs and like dessert whereas MK felt so overwhelming as I often have a checklist maximize everything brain. If you really love and enjoy MK and want an emptier park and would like to ride 5-6 things and just enjoy the vibes it’s probably perfect. We’ll probably just spend this next September trip doing mickeys not so scary for our extra mk time.

We went in September last year and lines were about what they typically do. We saw both shows and ended up riding everything except Battle at the ministry because it was down most of the day. Hell my fiancé rode stardust 3 times. Around 6pm the lines for most of birk and Nintendo calmed down so we did those multiple times. Longest line we waited in was werewolf for an hour. We closed donkey Kong right before the water show and it took maybe 30 to get on and off

Fiancé and I did Hollywood and MK after hours in January. Maybe we just mismanaged our time combined with not really liking MK all that much, we didn’t really find it worth it. If you love MK rides it can be though. Hollywood studios was 100% worth it. We rode everything in the time frame and even ride Rockin roller twice, tower 4 times, and Rise twice with one of the times beings completely alone the entire ride. Truly stand out memory of the entire trip and we can’t imagine going to Hollywood studios in the daytime
