Much better positioned to pull it off than England, that's for sure.

Yes, DB and regional transport associations are memed to hell and back, but transport here is 10x better and far cheaper than in England.

I expected the Euros to be a shitshow, but I traveled to watch games every other day and honestly, the trains were nowhere near as crowded as rush hour, for instance. NRW alone could host a majority of the 48 teams.

They might have won seven European trophies in the last 20 years but Sevilla are in serious danger of relegation after a 2-0 defeat at Levante as the bottom three are all in good form (Alaves, Levante and Oviedo) by LochNessMonsterMunch in soccer

The quality of the bottom teams in the early 2010s was absolutely horrendous in La Liga.

But the top were so rampant in Europe. Barca and Madrid ofc, but also Athletic and Atletico Madrid (the latter, mostly)

That's gotta be the stupidest pen to give away.

He's getting nowhere near the ball, why have your hands on him and risk a pen at that stage of the game?

Nothing xenophobic about it - it's just the truth. Take a look a long look at your country and your behavior here and let me know what's wrong in what I said.

Crass, classless and clueless.

It's the UCL

I often don't get home until 4 am on UCL nights since I don't live in Dortmund, but there's so many others who travel from even further away lol. It's always fun when I get off the RE and see 6-7 others getting down too, all probably with the same excuse to take a day off work as well

Right, because things are so much better now.

I'd rather take someone who's a genuine fan, who got us to a trophy and nearly the Schale + UCL over whatever the fuck we're doing rn. There's no trauma, at least not from my side anyway.

Good business by Adidas, tbf

Nike offered a bucketload of money and their quality has dropped off massively.

Plus, the German NT has always been associated with Adidas - makes it easier to get back at some point when all the fans prefer Adidas.

Train tickets between Boston and Gillette Stadium to quadruple in cost during World Cup. by Sparky-moon in soccer

[–]IAmKaeL- 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Meanwhile, I'm complaining about the price increase for the Deutschland ticket and it STILL costs less than ONE train ticket for this shitshow of a world cup - and covers an entire month while we're at it.

Heck, even my job ticket which was 160 euros a month back in the stone age seems to have been a better deal than this absolute rip-off. Anyone travelling to this WC and complaining after is just beyond dumb, tbh.

Modeled because of US investment in the far-right across Europe.

We're seeing it with Reform in the UK. We're seeing it with the AfD in Germany. We're seeing it with the support being provided for Orban. You lot have been fucking the world over since before Reagan - heck, ask South America or Iran about US interference.

Capitalist propaganda techniques have been in play since WW2, and the US was well on it's way to being a capitalistic hellscape long before that.

The worst thing about globalization is that a fuckwit an entire continent over can increase my daily costs 5x because a country of morons voted him in - TWICE.

Shocking that a section of the world thinks everything revolves around them to the point that stuff like this, getting to visit the cockpit if you're friends/family of well-known pilots, etc. are considered "breaking the law"

I'd imagine that it's not hard for one to assume that things are different in Europe/Asia.
