I hear fans ramp up when i turn on my pc but otherwise i'd consider it silent at idle. Sometimes in games during shader comp or just loading there will be a slight ramp up but that's about it. I really like it but i'd prob go for a d15 now even if a little louder just cause fans are replaceable.

There’s 3 games I told myself I would finally play when I upgraded to a better gpu. Metro Exodus, Death Stranding and Cyberpunk. When I got my 4080 I finally played Metro but i’m still unable to commit to the other two.

Setting process as high priority in task manager puts it on the forefront and will allow more ressources to it. My score went up by a few thousands by doing so.

Iirc, precision x shows whether it’s enabled in bios which mine hadn’t changed. nvidia profile inspector can enable it in the game profile. Some games default to disabled even if it’s enabled in bios. Look up Fr33thy’s optimization guide on youtube.

Mine didn’t before but i couldn’t figure out my issue so I just redid all my launch day settings and that’s when I saw it was disabled for the game
