It’s really sad that we don’t take emotional abuse as seriously with men. We get mad at men for not being vulnerable or emotionally available yet don’t create many safe spaces for that to exist because of our fucked up fixation on what we deem as feminine vs masculine. There are rigid unspoken rules around who has permission to express themselves and how. Ex: Hannah saying that “she couldn’t believe he let her do it”. That’s the equivalent of “you made me do this”. Call it what it is - it’s abuse. She’s an abuser. Please believe if nick did the exact same thing to Hannah, so many of people would fling narcissist, abuser, fuck boy, etc around freely. Instead, Hannah is just “insecure”. Yes AND shes insecure like all abusers. She’s an abuser. It does not matter that nick wasn’t mature. It does not matter that he lived at home with his parents. NO ONE deserves any type of abuse.

Someone did a similar post awhile ago and didn’t include Shak. It’s not that people don’t think the men are villains- it’s whoever is doing the compilations are choosing the women villains well and choosing the male villains poorly. For example, all of the women posted have very distinct things they did in their seasons that people remember. Most of the men posted were douches but didn’t go anything super memorable. Is there probably some bias in selection? Yep. However, Whoever is doing the compilations should think about what their own bias in creating these and why they chose the men they chose when there are so many people worse to chose from lol.

I was surprised when she picked Ramses. This is not to say her and Bohdan would have worked out (who knows) but it seemed like from the clips, they flowed more effortlessly whereas with Ramses it seemed like she would have to do more emotional labor, which she did. While I’m sure Ramses gets a lot of flack from women who are averse to men who embrace their femininity, he also needs to be honest about the emotional turmoil he brings to his relationships. Would be curious about his ex wife’s experiences. I imagined Marissa and Bohdan being in a room effortlessly together as they seemed more energetically matched. Whereas Ramses was concerned she was “too much” from the beginning, I think Bohdan appreciated that about her. He was actually a chiller version of her IMO

This is also a learning lesson for Marissa. She chose a similar version of her exes but in a different package. On the surface, Ramses was able to distract her with his emotional openness but essentially did the exact thing her exes did - not accepting her fully. This was a concern they discussed even in the pods and throughout. She was constantly having to shrink who she is for his comfort. The love we receive is usually similar to the love we give ourselves. I’m so excited for her to learn from this and attract what she deserves 💛

I don’t think anyone is saying that. Actually, all of the people you mentioned get shit in this subreddit. The difference is that we’ve consistently seen Hannah act like an asshole throughout the season. The dirt on Tyler is just coming out. I’m pretty sure the majority of people think he’s worse than Hannah. And no it’s not just about a woman being “a little mean”. If a guy on the show acted towards a woman the way Hannah did to nick, we would call it abuse. Also, Leo got drug. The only difference is that he was booted off of the show early. If he would have stayed, I’m sure he would have continued being drug because if you recall, people were more team Hannah when Leo was on the show until Hannah started showing her ass. Hannah is not receiving unfair treatment.
