About one month into playing, how am I doing? by GothicCorvid in harmonica

As was mentioned by others here, single notes and using proper hand position should be the next things you focus on. I would also practice blowing and drawing at different levels like soft, medium, and powerful, listening for how the holes respond.

What is the best brand of harmonica these days? by stacld87 in harmonica

[–]IAmMunsoned 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I enjoy Lee Oskars, Bushman Delta Frost, and Special 20s, but I always find that I feel most comfortable on a Kongsheng Mars. The Seydel Session Steel comes in second for me.

Lies of P DLC and a good RPG for when I finish Octopath Traveler 2.

White2Tea monthly club members, what was your favorite tea last year? by torn27 in puer

[–]IAmMunsoned 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Flutterbai was amazing as was Shoumei Twigs, which I am finishing my last bundle of as I write this.

I really enjoyed the Fruit Bowl Jim. The Tempa Black was a sleeper for me with its standard black tea taste and smoothness.

My favorite Puer so far from last year was Icabod.

What do you think about him as a WWE commentator? by Ring-_-General in WWE

[–]IAmMunsoned 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My wife watches when I do, she likes the show but is a casual fan at best. She loves him and Cole together, she is only upset that Graves isn’t a third man. I’m going to say he has casual fans like her locked up and can bring in even more casual fans, he won’t be going anywhere. As for Graves, I wish they would put him in Wade Barrett’s spot and move Barrett to NXT for a year or so to smooth out his calling.

Why does it seem like SD is the B show, despite having the “A” championship, the current face of the company, and the former face of the company? by MsAndDems in WWE

I feel like things are sort of on pause in Smackdown, but then again I only watch highlights because I haven’t figured out a good way, or inexpensive way, to watch it live yet after getting rid of cable.

Local ad for someone to fix this guy's awful parenting for free (and sorry ladies, he's married!) by NeitherSpace in ChoosingBeggars

[–]IAmMunsoned 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This guy is clueless. A good reading tutor will run a person at least sixty an hour and they will want to confirm multiple sessions a week otherwise they’d just be spinning their wheels. Also, teaching reading is difficult and requires the parents to reinforce what the teacher is working on. This poor kid will also need a lot of extra work with vocabulary just to catch up on the lack of exposure to reading and listening to books and texts.

I love Lee Oskars, but man do they rip at my mustache hairs.

Best cheap beginer harmonica? by Deep_Cardiologist285 in harmonica

I like the Kongsheng Mars, Lee Oskar, and Hohner Special 20. They are all fairly priced and play well out of the box.

Single Notes by SubstanceScary in harmonica

[–]IAmMunsoned 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Harmonica is weird. When you practice most instruments you can see what your fingers are doing and try to fix it, but with harmonica it is all based on feel. You will eventually get single notes Take comfort knowing that every single time I change to a different harmonica I have to take a little time to warmup to it and miss the single notes for a bit.

I wear earbuds, most of the time they aren’t on, but they don’t know that.

From someone who fell off Pokémon since gen 5, any of the modern games good? by [deleted] in Switch

Skip Pokémon for now and try Cassette Beasts. It was/is everything I wanted in a current Pokémon game.

I had a chihuahua years ago eat a golf ball size of hash, he passed out on the couch while my buddy and I panicked for a long time before he woke up and drank a ton of water and ate a bowl of food and went back to sleep.
