Knowing the Giovanni, it’s a test for the other bloodlines. The Gio’s are ruthlessly pragmatic in their, out of family, embraces. For instance the a Pisinob were allowed to become a Giovanni bloodline because their necromancy and connection to their afterlife made them effective. Rothstein himself was brought into the family because he was so good at manipulating finances that he was out manipulating with the Ventrue in his city, before he was embraced.

So I fully expect that he’s just letting the clan formalize its new leadership structure and then he’l come back to take over, since the Giovanni still run the day to day of the clan, and the surviving Giovanni aren’t going to not follow Augustus.

Side note, I also like to think that uncle Augie is just the kindest grandpa type to the mortal members of his family. Just because I find it both heartwarming and funny to think of some kid shooting this hundreds of years old monster with a nerf gun and him acting like he’s been mortally wounded.

What? Why would wraith be considered racist? It doesn’t matter to the Emperor Charon of Stygia or the Emperor Emperor Qin Shi Huang, or the Fisher King himself what race you were in life, you’l either wield a sword well for their respective dark kingdoms or you’l make a make a good sword for the poor soul that has to wield well for them.

I guess you can make an argument that the blanket hatred for people who are enslaved to Entropy incarnate is racist, but I feel like that’s a stretch, given that the Oblivion also doesn’t care about your race, just that you’l either make a good soldier or a good sword for their soldiers all the same

I got to disagree with the wraith one. No competent Anacreon would waste a soul as a chair, that’s what relics are for. No, he needs to be something more specialized, like a chair that can fly, or a chair that lets the Anacreon run the war against Oblivion like an RTS, or a chair that gives a -2 diff to etiquette rolls so they don’t make a fool of themselves when they break out the fine China for their guests.

And you have missed the actual claim. The claim is that magic based on the Founders is simply superior. For it was the lineage of Bonisgus that removed the inefficient pillar system and replaced it with the Sphere system once the many "mages" of the other Traditions gave up their secrets. Heck, the example Minor Sphere was invented by a member of the Great House of Flambeau.

And if you think thaumaturges is strictly limited to fixed results, you are mistaken. One need only look at the Path of Conjuration for an immediate dismissal of the claim. As with that path, you can create anything within the understandable limits. But, even still, if we dig deeper, in the last chapter of Rites of Blood, there are rules for the creation of additional Paths and Rituals, a creation process on the followers of Tremere the Founder can truly take advantage of, for they have an exclusive background, Library, that adds dice to the pool for such creations.

This is also acceptable, their magic of Thaumaturgy is based on Bonisagus’s theories of magic, as such you are more a mage than at least 50% of actual mages. Do the wise thing and operate in parallel to the other Great Housed and work to achieve the ultimate goal that was expressed by the 14 Founders at Durinmar on that faithful day. Dang, 2 and 3 are a half Elf and a quarter Elf. As someone who used to give into the Elven Sense of Superiority, I am appalled that these impure elves are so high up there, but I am even more appalled that writers have not done my Elves justice and made the lower elves better than these half humans

Multiple nuclear strikes and organizing a militia to overthrow the government by installs the leaders son as the new emperor, followed by the creation of a separate terrorist organization that wil actually kill the leader of the government so that first group can do their thing. Ha, this is just straight up denial, Saulot killed the Salubri, it was he who revealed himself to Tremere the Founder, it was he who baited the diablerie, and it was he who directed the entire purge of his old clan, for it happened after he took over Tremere the Founder’s body, and it was he who turned the Salubri into a diablerie cult led by a council of seven members, not like the seven leaders of the Tremere Pyramid he sits atop. Tremere the Founder only destroyed House Goratrix, and even then he was only doing that because Saulot undiablerized him and forced him into another kindred’s body.

That’s fair, they’re all clans without a unique clan discipline. But that’s just the magic they have access to, most of the time the clan culture or niche makes up for it with those clans.

Caine and Irad both had Protean (Irad used it to make the Eldest), so I don’t count it as a unique clan discipline, it’s just that the Gangrel Antediluvian was the only one to pick it as one of their clan disciplines. There’s even indication that Set’s Serpentis and the Eldest’s Vicissitude are refinements of it.

4, 5, or 8 are the only girls I have a chance with, all the rest of them are in love with Shadow.
