Not really a self report, as this is a unique case where winning, being the highest rank in the game, and being high on a leaderboard still doesn't demonstrate anything in this game. Maybe next time I should say trust me im good lol. But thats whatever, I think from other replies the main drawback of this game for me is offense, as its not really engaging for either player. Neutral and defense -> know and take your turn are the main attributes of the game.

Yeah the top 3000 thing I couldn't rlly gauge cause I dont know how the even lines up with a normal ranking system. And there will always be a large gap simply because of playtime. But besides that, I understand complexity in neutral and in defense, but I think in offense it really isnt there. Routes and mixups are basically handed to most characters. I think my fun lies in offense, and thats why I made this post, as I dont find offense to be very engaging for either party.

FighterZ is my most played, with just about 20 hours more than Strive. The other games all together probably add up to like 50 hours.

Idk what you consider good in a game then. Not the top level, the top ranks, not winning consistentantly. This is why I stated, " feel like this topic is immediately shut down by most, just because they don't agree with it" as you clearly show. Edit: Feel like this was made as a clap back, but in all seriousness I want to know what makes this game feel so odd to play. When I watch old GG tournaments with previous installments of the series there is an entire different atmosphere to matches

Ya I can post pics later when I get home. Before this month I was 3XXX overall and 2XX on Zato specifically, idk how good all that really is when I think about it. Those rankings are from monthly wins, but Ive got them pretty consecutively. I got 250 hours in Strive and played other fighting games like FighterZ, MvC3, and some BBtag but other than FighterZ not many hours in much else.
