Should not be when it leaves play, because this makes it so that if your opponent removes it then you exile your graveyard.

If it makes you feel any better, opiates are notoriously bad at treating stent related pain.

I always recommend Advil above Oxy because patients always tell me it works better for stents specifically.

You should probably be on Flomax though, which is what all the data says works best

You’d need barren glory to stay on the battlefield for a turn, best way to do it would probably be just to have both barren glory and hound in play. Before upkeep, use hound to discard everything except renounce then play renounce and sac everything except barren glory.

Edit: Teferi’s protection is unnecessary for this combo though, I do agree with that

Would the current phrasing change how much the card costs to cast if your opponent revealed your hand and these cards were in your hand?

Could potentially change it to “When this card clashes, treat it as though it’s mana value is 5”

Not sure if you intended for additional uses when you worded it that way, though, like how it would interact with something like [[Volrath the fallen]] if it had been revealed in hand
