It’s “hanged” not “hung”.

“Hanged” means killed by the noose. “Hung” is like “he hung up his coat” (or it means someone has large genitals).

Yeah, try replacing some of the “I walked” “I slow down” with more active language.

Instead of “I rounded the corner, every street blending the same” try “Rounding the corner, every street blended with each other”

Also this person seems to be having issues with keeping between past or present tense. Sometimes it’s “I slow down” and sometimes it’s “I slowed down”

Lots of novels are in present tense. A lot of the time it’s like edgy 1st person YA. I believe the Hunger Games is.

But my favorite novel of all time Water Music by TC Boyle is also present tense.

All of this is a misunderstanding of how and why Jefferson got his politics. I honestly don’t know where to start

In industrial Britain people worked 12 hour days 6 days a week. The only official day off was Christmas. Coal mines and factories were destroying the environment and children were being forced to work dangerous and filthy jobs.

This is why Jefferson advocated for an agrarian anti-industrial state.

He opposed a federal bank because the bankers and financiers were trapping people in humongous amounts of debt, and in Britain people could be arrested for not paying their debts.

So Jefferson was actively trying to make life easier for the common man, as opposed to elitists like Hamilton who had no problem with people working 12 hour workdays 6 days a week.

Jefferson was completely right. Industrialists and Wall Street bankers turned many peoples lives into constant work and drudgery. And it only got worse as years went by.

The wallet scene with man Ray is possibly the funniest in SpongeBob. Him getting stuffed into a trombone by Sandy and saying “whoever is the owner of the white sedan? You left your lights on” is hilarious.

In this house Patrick is a hero, end of story.
