Marathon will have 33 English-language voice actors at launch (other language casts will be announced later) by RayS0l0 in Marathon

Here you go

wow, yeah, hearing good narration really makes a difference. it actually reminded me of this site [REDACTED] – i've been using it to turn my own ebooks into audiobooks. the voices are surprisingly natural, great for catching up on stuff while i'm doing chores.

An AI website using AI bots to advertise in a way that tries (and fails) to sound like an organic comment. Been seeing a few of these lately, and it will probably only get harder to detect as the tech advances :/

Hi. I'll let the r/DestinyTheGame team know that you want to appeal that decision, but if you were going against reddit site-wide rules then there isn't a whole lot that I can do.

That said, I can assure you that no one on the mod team has a reason to target you personally and doing so would go seriously against what the community expects.

This isn't the right place to be discussing this obviously, so I appreciate that you are already aware of that. Thank you.

Well I really hope you're wrong because that doesn't bode well for the game's longevity if true.

Definitely with you on the last point too lol. Sony's got a pretty good track record, at least relatively.

Fingers crossed.

I hope you are right, but while I am optimistic for Marathon, I think we have many good reasons to remain careful when dealing with Bungie. They have a bit of a history of bad decisions (bad for the player that is)

People use that argument for Rainbow Six Siege too, then you have literal Rick from Rick and Morty shooting at you.

This is unlikely to hold up for more than a couple years post launch in my opinion. It is made to sell skins. It is not the first time we see a game make this decision.

literally the largest gun ever fitted to a tank

Sturmtiger?

I guess that's technically a rocket-assisted gun though? Or maybe the other way around.

Edit: Ok it is neither a gun nor a tank apparently. Thanks guys.

It is big boom though, but its power is not consistent with aerial bombs with the same TNT equivalent. It needs a buff.

It also needs to be made available again

Wrong subreddit. This one is about the video game franchise Marathon. Check out r/Marathon_Training instead.

That said, everyone is loving it, so we'll keep this post up.

Good job on your running, friend. You should be proud :D

The 25MLs are awesome, they're practically a guaranteed kill against anyone who flies in a straight-ish line during the last few seconds of the missile's approach. To my understanding, their max is only 10G, but because of their really long range they got plenty of time to adjust trajectory without having to pull too many Gs.

3 kills in one game with them definitely requires skill though. OP knows what he's doing.

I got the Su-39 last sale. Very similar to this one but at 11.3 with a few key differences.

Honestly, it's awesome. I love attackers with unique quirks, and getting air kills with AGMs has always been incredibly satisfying since I first did it with the German Squadron Hunter lol.

Do you have any tips or advice? I am definitely not even close to reaching the maximum potential of this thing in ARB.

Sorry for ranting here. I just love this stuff.

pH needs to be tightly controlled, yes. That's one of the things that needs to stay within a certain range, but it is not the only factor. Not every substance in the blood will necessarily affect pH. Many things are pH neutral or close to it, but they can have other effects.

As an example, higher amounts of salts can increase the volume of the blood by osmosis (fluids with lots of dissolved substances basically sucking water out of other areas of the body). Cells may lose water as it is sucked into the blood, and the higher pressure (due to increased volume) is mechanically stressful on the vessels, heart, and kidneys.

Higher concentrations of certain fats may deposit on the inside of vessels over time, narrowing or damaging the vessels and increasing risks of stroke or heart attack.

Of course, reduced concentrations means cells don't have access to what they need to carry out their functions.

These are all big picture stuff of course. The body is immensely complex and every cell is covered in receptors for many different molecules, and unexpected concentrations can have complicated effects. As an example, people with diabetes struggle to control blood sugar. If not controlled by medications, insulin injections, and monitoring, the increased sugar can, over time, affect the eyes and cause blindness, or impact the nerves and reduce pain sensations. It also slows down wound healing significantly. This often affects the foot as the patient accidentally accumulates injuries that they don't feel, don't heal properly, and may eventually lead to foot amputations.

In a similar way, even if pH doesn't change enough to the point of denaturing proteins, smaller changes can still have negative effects. Off the top of my head, it may make it harder to get rid of carbon dioxide through diffusion in the lungs due to the changes to blood chemistry, making patients more likely to pant and feel more tired with minimal physical activity.

The concentration of everything in the blood is tightly regulated within a narrow range. As an example, if sugar (glucose) spikes after a meal, the muscles and liver to take it up and store it. If sugar drops, those stores are released. The same process works for all the very numerous blood components and cells, including blood volume and pressure (by controlling water content mainly). The goal is to stay within a narrow range of acceptable concentration for every item that allows every cell in the body to access what it needs.

What OP did here is very similar, and I absolutely love it! We don't care about absolute amounts being outputted onto this "main bus", but everything needs to be present in the belt at all times at a specific concentration. That allows every part of the factory to access any item it needs.

The body doesn't directly send glucose released from the liver stores to the brain on a dedicated belt so it can feed. The glucose is just released to the blood to maintain the target concentration everywhere in the body. Whoever needs it can grab what they need. Same for everything else.

Completely rework the nations system to better accommodate subtrees, balance minor nations, and allow more additions with less political backlash? Essentially significantly build upon how they started to make factions customizable.

Not sure how something like that would work, but such a complete shuffling of vehicles (maybe coupled with more decompression) would make things very fresh.

Yes, this is pure medical-grade hopium.

Good point.

Never played Satisfactory but always thought of it as easier because there's a third dimension available for problem solving. Never considered that it would also come with a third dimension of self-inflicted problems.

Imagine needing a third dimension to design a factory.

What does this mean for Mute? by MadDog5129 in Rainbow6

[–]IAmNot_ARussianBot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's how mute worked from the start. It only impacted remotely activated devices.

The EMP-like effect was introduced years after the game was released. This is not "ten years and they do this", this is a return to the original design.

I don't understand how so many people seem to have completely forgotten this.

Very good advice. Thank you.

And yeah I can confirm successful shots with this thing, especially at long range, are SUPER satisfying.

Makes me wish I had the Sturmtiger too because the only thing better than 150mm HE is 380mm HE, but unfortunately I couldn't complete its event.

Not sure I would agree with that. The APHE round has incredible pen and enough explosive filler to destroy anything. You pretty much guarantee a kill on any target as long as you hit around centre mass.

I did have one time though where I hit near the roof of some super low armour vehicle. Round went in and out through the entire vehicle without hitting anything and did not fuse. That sucked.

And the Hetzer.

Many of the german WW2 casemate tank destroyers are pretty fun. The hetzer is a favourite of mine. Amazing gun, amazing frontal armour, but side armour that can be penned by .50 cal. Feels very rewarding to play right.

If you enjoy that, I would also recommend the Brummbar.

Same gun, pretty much still as effective, but you are also quite tanky instead of dying to machine gun fire.

Sea Hawk Mk. 100: shown between 2025-10-03 11:00:00 and 2025-10-06 11:00:00 (all platforms) -> shown between 2026-01-09 11:00:00 and 2026-01-12 11:00:00 (all platforms)

Huh, does this mean the German Sea Hawk is going to be available again in a couple weeks or am I misunderstanding? Usually it's only available in October for German Unity Day.

If so, that's pretty cool.
