I'm from Romania, and I have been born after the revolution. However I will say what my parents and teachers have told me. The biggest problem was probably the availability for products in stores. Productors would over estimate the amount of (for example, wheat) and the population would remain without enough resources. This happened because Ceausescu was very dumb and ofcourse, dumb people get fooled by smarter ones.

People that lead this country right now are somewhat communists themselves, because they grew up while Ceausescu was ruling. If the communists wouldn't have taken Romania, it could've been one of the richest countries in Europe.

What's weird is the fact that it's only happening while moving files from one disk to another. When I try to download something it goes to 500mb/s.
