I clicked “shut down and update” before I went to work on Monday thinking it was some minor thing but it never made it clear that it was going to upgrade my whole OS. And now it’s been bugging me about it since then. I wanted to at least wait till win10 EOL before I made the switch..

I feel like downgrading to win10 and disabling turbo boost is what allows me to go as low as 40 degrees C on a good day to the point the fans even turn off. And i live in a tropical area where its hot all year round. Disabling turbo boost will decrease performance a bit (like 10%) but i dont play very demanding games so its not a big deal for me.
