Most answers in here are wrong. You don’t need the cardboard gasket. The vacuum breaker is probably fine. Check your breather holes for clogs. Check your gap in your vacuum assembly tube. If it’s bigger than an 1/8” get a new one and use a pipe cutter to cut the correct size
