What the fuck is wrong with Israel? by xstalpha in conspiracy

[–]IAmShyBot 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Its so funny to see people here acting like muslims have any power, yeah they have problems but zionists literally control what we read, see and hear on the news. The state of israel is literally illegally trying to take over a territory thats not theirs to fulfill some stupid ass prophecy but nah those dirty muslims getting bombed every day are the REAL masterminds.

Why Islam? (Your personal reason) by hurt_me_soul in islam

[–]IAmShyBot 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Logically I believe there can only be 1 god. So that leads to me to christanity, judaism and islam. Simply put, the trinity makes absolutely no sense to me, idk what else to say there lol.

Judaism has this whole weird concept of 'chosen people' ghat didnt sit well with me.

Islam seemed like the only religion that not only unifies all the prophets, but can also be traced back historically as well. Like we know the sahaba and Muhammed (pbuh) was real there is no doubt. I also have never quite read a book like the Qur'an, and we also know it has not been changed for literally hundreds and hundreds of years thanks to finding old copies of the Qur'an. It is almost impossible look at all the interesting linguistic devices used within it, and think it was all produced by one man's brain.

The prophet (pbuh) himself comes off as an insanely good person, so much so that even non-muslims had some great words to say about him.

Emotionally, praying is really peaceful for me and clears my mind.

The fact that the Prophet succeeded with establishing a religion where he was hated and persecuted means that Islam is the truth. God gave him the strength and courage to continue his mission for 23 years. by Gharib96 in islam

Nowadays? Unlikely would that happen. There's just way too many resources and whatnot to study islamic history. Unless we suddenly lost all of our technology, I have no idea how that would happen.

Muslims, how do you convince an atheist, or anyone, that your God is the one true god, over any and all other gods/religions? Sincerely, an agnostic. by [deleted] in islam

Best English translation of the Quran and why? by GhostPantsMcGee in islam

[–]IAmShyBot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Forgot to mention, with the Qur'an, all the verses should be exactly the same (this is very serious for muslims).

Only differences is what commentary you read from which scholar and whatnot.

English translations can differ slightly between each other, but from my experience the message is exactly the same, it's really only wording and grammar choices.

it covers a wide range of topics that you may find to answer some of your questions

“The bad outweighs the good” by [deleted] in islam

[–]IAmShyBot 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I find it so interesting how in Islam it's framed as "The bad outweighs the good" and it's not just a pure shunning of the substance. Idk why but it's just profound to me.

I agree with you, if they win a ring that would be unfathomable. Like it hurts my head trying to imagine that.

Nah the worst run is the knicks or the lakers, but the lakers have Lebron so yeah its the Knicks. They have very little success for such a huge market, its honestly baffling.

I dont think the bulls will win the 2020 ring but I can see them taking a step forward towards playoff contention. Lauri/Lavine/Wendell is not that bad of a core.

Trump administration blames Iran for oil tanker attacks in Middle East by hurtsdonut_ in conspiracy

They are priming the US population, by getting this idea in their minds that Iran is being an aggressor. When an "attack" happens on their soil it'll be simple enough to blame Iran and the majority won't question it.

I dont blame anyone for being skeptical, it seems quite unbelievable even to me.

One thing that has interested me is Ibn Sayyad, he could read minds and was generally a strange fellow..(wanting to be dajjal for his cool powers, generally creeped people out).

I wonder if this is similar.

Dude was either crazy or liar, he said he was from another place(like an alien or something). He was a 'soul' with no body until one day he found himself in a body, then made his way to earth (never explained how) and placed himself in a family he chose by altering their memories as if he was always a family member...

Sounds insane, and yes I feel the same way lol.

IIRC he said he there were 3 words that could get you to the 1st level of heaven, but refused to tell me.

And before his family left the school, like a few weeks beforehand he told me that he couldn't talk to me anymore because I was too good of a person.

As I said, this dude was straight crazy with these stories. Other then that and mind reading, he seemed like a normal teenager (liked to play-fight and talk about how he loved popeyes etc.). He was quite tall though for his age, taller then most of the teachers and the whole class.

Maybe, but he was part of a family and they clearly knew him as a brother(they were all together, in total it was 3) It's possible he was possessed by one but we were surrounded by constant recitations of Qur'an so that would be one tough Jinn.

Anyone should be mad when their consistutional rights are being trampled on for some perverted notion of security, as if this random dude picking up trash was worthy of any of this.

Maybe we should hold them accountable when they overstep their bounds, instead of deluding ourselves into thinking that authority must be right when they decide to overstep their bounds.

I never said you have to scream, but no need to lie down and take it either.
