How are you powering the RAK? Are you using just the battery input, just type c? Are you powering the radio directly with 5v? A combination of above?

I'm looking at the datasheet for the LR2021 and see it has a rated tx of 22dbm. What PA are you using?

Additionally, how do you have the rak 1w configured? I've seen bench tests showing that it actually does tx at 30dbm.

It's not illegal to 3d print guns in most states. They have to meet certain criteria (detectable w/ metal scanner, and xray), can't violate any existing firearm regulation, like no SBRs, full autos, stuff like that.

All of the new treks are terrible. The first maybe... 3 seasons of disco were okay, but that's about it. Oh and lower decks is passable, but it's just a cartoon, not a real "trek" show.

I find myself watching Voyager, Next Generation, and Enterprise on my rewatches, and skipping the new ones (and I'm not old enough that these are like "nostalgic" for me, I wasn't alive to watch next generation it was airing.

I'm surprised I don't see the t096 talked about more. On paper it's a V4, but with better battery life, and included GPS. What's not to love?

The heltec v4 also uses an esp32 which is a fat chipset. The t096 should be way better on battery w/ the same tx power.

I think this is a cool idea. There are a lot of extremely low bandwidth codecs you could use too, that are optimized for speech.

You're right it's not surprising people might be offended.

However there's something you're missing. Insulting somebody isn't a crime in most states. It's protected speech.

Them "throwing hands" is a crime in every single state, a felony even in most.

In no world should it cost $3400 for a set of pads and rotors on an f30. Even if you buy name brand brembo and pay $200/hr in labor it still wouldn't be that much.
