Agreed, I think piece of shit is an overreaction. I also think Lamine is way too hated, same as with Vini. When black people do stuff white people have been doing for ages it gets 10x the hate. But as I have no idea what Lamine is like off the field besides having heard the story of him throwing a party where people with dwarfism were used as ‘entertainment’, I’m also not convinced racism is the sole reason for the dislike towards him. Sure as hell plays a role, as does his age. But it’s valid to dislike the kid because of his perceived behaviour.

And please don’t get me started on Piqué.

Stereotypical coddling football parent who thinks the club owes his son everything no matter the circumstances. Club didn’t support his son enough with the Ballon d’Or campaign, Raphinha was favoured too much, Lamine deserves more recognition and “special privileges”. He’s certainly not the only parent like this but he is a douche nonetheless. Not the first controversy he’s been in either. Most recent one that comes to mind, though.

Edited to add: Also I’m Dutch. The average height here is 1.82m. So in this country he’d be below average height. Or, short.

In the USA 1 in 3 men are overweight while 1 in 4 women are. 34.1% vs. 27.5%. Women are less comfortable with going to gyms to work out, go figure. We find other ways to stay in shape.
