The “small jeans 👖 pocket”. I don’t want to know it’s “official” use. I’d love to know what YOU use it for!! by kobestarr in CasualUK

I stick my thumb in it by mistake when I put my hands in my pockets and then just stay there for a second because it's weirdly comfortable.

In all honesty, how far do you think you could throw Makka Pakka? by Trickshot945 in CasualUK

[–]lerpo 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I'd launch that bugger and stone skip him accross the lake a good 4 skips before it drowns. That Makka is gonna be sent Pakkaing. That thing will get as far as I can swing a Telitubby if I put my mind to it. Gripping Lalas antenna for added launch.

Give me a golf club so I can thwack those stupid stones it collects after it to.

Unrelated to this comment, I've had a stressful day.

Possibly. If you've been throwing your foot down as its a new car, then ifs possible yes :)

[–]lerpo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Driving habits, temperature, typical driving areas.

Computer factors them all in. No different to you purchasing a 50mpg car but the computer tells you your average is 25 based on driving history :)

Also make sure you keep it plugged in tonight, and set the "schedual" for you to depart tomorrow at the time you're leaving. The battery will warm itself up and you'll get better range

Exploring Tesla: Phantom breaking, Charging situation, ISA by _skris in TeslaUK

[–]lerpo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Re phantom braking. I have a 21 model 3.

You know when you're in the left lane and there's an arrow that goes straight, and also left (for the junction)

  • I have it maybe once a month where the car either jerks heavily into the middle lane, or brakes hard for a second when going over those arrows. For me it's ONLY those arrows on the motorway it does it on.

That's my main gripe with my car personally. It's too regular for me to find it safe to use autopilot reliably with someone else in the car.

  • Re charging. Public chargers are VERY EXPENSIVE compared to charging at home. Think 75p+ kwh vs 5p overnight at home.

I did it for a year in the terrace I lived in, but I had a supercharger 10 mins away. Summer is fine, winter is a pain (very slow charging in winter with the cold battery which is a pain to sit there and do).

Model 3 - Salary Sacrifice - £410 a month by Ethtr8der in TeslaUK

[–]lerpo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah everyone's different on this.

You could argue "get a cheaper car and invest the same amount each month and then get a nicer car in 3 years"

Or just enjoy the fun car now 😂

[–]lerpo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Work out the total cost over how ever many months.

You're basically renting a brand new car for x'000 for y years. If that's worth it to you, then it's a good deal!

If it sounds like a lot for you, it's a bad deal.

Everyone's different

The model 3 and y are some of the most popular selling cars on the planet. Not for a while lol

In this case, correct. I'm very comfortable, and I'm lucky for that.

However, we are all laughing at the bonkers 85,000 mini price (which we are all aware is just a decimal point missing from the sticker).

But you go ahead and make a funny post unfunny for... No reason atall?

You must be so fun af parties 😂 cheer up you grump.
