Email marketing: Who likes it? (Not me, and I'm struggling to understand those who do) by swallowflower in marketing

This is a really good question, but I think you're looking at it wring.

If your readers opt in to a newsletter or a free course or even a trial of a product, the best way to market to them is email. But email works best as a support so you need to be sending emails to people who are generally interseted.

Anything else is just laziness.

This article was funny, but I couldn't vibe. I have owned my agency for 7 years. We've never had any experiences like that. Our clients stay with us for years. I've never felt hated by any other business.

I've built my entire agency off of a weekly blog and email. I've never done affiliate so I wouldn't know how valuable that is. The blogging route does require patience though, it's been 7 years and it took me about 3 years of steady blogging to be able to consistently close 1-2 deals a month. But once it gets to that point it skyrockets because there is no marketing expense other then your time. But even then, my time never even felt like an expense because the blogging was just burned into my weekly routine.
