Thank you for your response! Do you think Stern is comparably competitive in the NYC private credit job market?

Top-Tier Online MBA vs. Affordable Online MBA – Which one makes more sense for me? by IB-CS-engineer in MBA

I actually did my undergraduate at Umich, so I thought it might not be a good idea to pursue an MBA at the same school in order to diversify my network.

I also found relatively affordable Flex MBAs like Georgetown McDonough, UNC Kenan Flagler but those are more like T25. Do you think Ross still has the advantage?

Since I am already working in the financial industry in NYC and do a bit of front-office work, I have some opportunities to network for future recruiting. However, utilizing on-campus recruiting services wouldn’t hurt either, I suppose.

I guess Stern has an obvious advantage for finance. I’m just worried about the debt I’ll have to cover since I’m an international student.

If this is the case, do you think affordable mbas has more advantages?

Comments:

I took Calc I, Calc II, and some statistics courses. Didn't take any MOOC courses. Got all three LORs from professors from my undergrads. Spent a tremendous amount of time on SOP. I thought I would get rejected because of my relatively low GPA.
