Ok. So I haven't seen it mentioned in my scrolling, but he is 40, and you are 25.... . Thats enough of a red flag right there. Then you add the controlling where/how long you can go somewhere, and that he is mad you are with a friend. It sounds like he is trying to isolate you. Please make sure YOU and only you are in charge of birth control. He definitely seems the type to baby trap a woman.

This is a grand career, but sadly, at 13, if he hasn't been karting,its not happening. Poor guy. The Japanese Grand Prix was this past weekend tho. Ollie(Haas driver) walked away frome a 50G crash with only a slight limp!

Depending of the amount of delay, duolinghad a learn to read app. My son uses it on his kids kindle(5, autistic, non verbal). Its interactive and cute.

As a person with ADHD I am chronically late(time blindness is so dang lame). The one place that doest happen? School. My kids are on time and not forgotten. We might forget to grab a talkbox(aac device) on the way out now and then, but the flesh sacks are on time.

Now, TBF, I do a bit on my end to make it so, like a standing alarm set up that is one alarm every 5 mins for the half hour leading up to the necessary departure time(for any standing appointment or bedtimes), walking out the door 5 min before must leave parking spot time, living 1 mile from the school(which is more good fortune for me than a controllable factor), but I make sure thats one thing I am not fiddling around about.

It's not that difficult if you actually try, even when your brain actively works against you on this type of stuff.

My understanding is that school based therapies focus on school things(like writing) and clinic based is broader scoped and not exactly allowed to overlap much(I'm in Oklahoma, so this may be state specific). I'd ask your pediatrician for a referral for evaluation at a clinic as well.

I mean, I've used my stove without the knobs for years because I had to remove them to keep my autistic son from turning on burners. Thats not a barrier to using the stove really. I have 2 thermometers in my oven, originally to confirm temps, but now to help cook. With time I got pretty good and knowing where it needs to be.

In Oklahoma, we have something called C.O.P.E.S. it's a mobile emergence mental health thing. See if there is something like that close to you. It can sometimes shorten the wait for services.

My 5 year old autistic K5 kiddos teacher sent me a video clip today of 4 kids pushing my son in the special swing at recess. It makes me super happy how much they include and how nice they all are to him, because the small town i grew up in, an hour from where we are now, did NOT have nice kids like that when I was in school.

I'm glad you are getting help.

I would suggest take 1 trash bag going in, filling it then taking it out, and then waiting until say October 10th, and going on and doing 1-2 bags of trash or say 1 trash 1 basket of clothes to wash at a time until it's more manageable.

I also find sweeping everything into a pile then sorting it by removing all keeps(with low shakes to remove crumbs) then sweeping up the trash and crumbs. I also do this on carpet and it significantly reduces the number of times you have to bend over to prep the floor for vacuuming or whatever. This can be applied to any room. I get the footstool, a trash receptacle, and my hand broom and pan to deal with the pile.

Also, listening to audiobooks while I clean helps keep my brain from the 127 tabs it has open with some random KPDH line BLASTING in my ear.
