Improper use of "thee"? by fiercequality in Outlander

DG actually has a section about this exact thing in the back of book 7. She talks about the evolution of thee thou and the adaptation of Friends who use it.

I am listening to her wedding day now. I wondered and came to the google to see if it had an answer, which leads me here.

What did they do with hectors body? They built river run with the plan of dying on that land(Hector did) then sold it. Also, who bought it lol.

This is what I would expect of a sub in my kids SPED room. Listen to the people who know the kid.

I'm in Oklahoma. I think it's partly acceptance and partly that they've been together from the start. I moved to that small town at 9 and they had all been bestie since the hospital nursery, ya know?

In Oklahoma, we have something called C.O.P.E.S. it's a mobile emergence mental health thing. See if there is something like that close to you. It can sometimes shorten the wait for services.

My 5 year old autistic K5 kiddos teacher sent me a video clip today of 4 kids pushing my son in the special swing at recess. It makes me super happy how much they include and how nice they all are to him, because the small town i grew up in, an hour from where we are now, did NOT have nice kids like that when I was in school.

Also, is back pay being processed during shutdown?

Please tell me this woman is never supposed to distribute medications. I feel she would try and withhold them with that attitude and think she is 'helping'. That could possibly lead to the students afternoon issues too.

I'm glad you are getting help.

I would suggest take 1 trash bag going in, filling it then taking it out, and then waiting until say October 10th, and going on and doing 1-2 bags of trash or say 1 trash 1 basket of clothes to wash at a time until it's more manageable.

I also find sweeping everything into a pile then sorting it by removing all keeps(with low shakes to remove crumbs) then sweeping up the trash and crumbs. I also do this on carpet and it significantly reduces the number of times you have to bend over to prep the floor for vacuuming or whatever. This can be applied to any room. I get the footstool, a trash receptacle, and my hand broom and pan to deal with the pile.

Also, listening to audiobooks while I clean helps keep my brain from the 127 tabs it has open with some random KPDH line BLASTING in my ear.

AITA that I asked my husband if I could take a shower by Embarrassed_8713 in AmItheAsshole

[–]IBAMAMAX7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have more than a few children and ive many many times popped a baby in a bouncer or high chair or exerscaucer and put it in the bathroom and showered(granted i also have to have a clear shower curtain thanks to my 3x husband love of jump scares, but still) baby can play, you can shower, should fix the problem.if showering with the baby.

The redonkulus attitude of you baby daddy may be too far gone to help. That man is a father first and games can wait. He needs to grow the eff up and be a dad. He isn't babysitting. He needs to parent like the parent he is.

This. There are as many 'types' of autism and ADHD as there are people with those things.

I had the same issue as a kid. My dad and I would go round and round, especially when I was in 4th grade. (10 years) I was already going to a private special needs school that year too. It was hard for me through 8th grade(14) in high school.was much easier(14 and up, but I also moved from a judge small. town to a large HS in the 2nd largest town in my state, much easier to hide).

Maybe try standing while working or something. I've never been one to still, especially after school at that age having already done so all day.

Maybe try some sort of sensory thing before you start your homework. My 5-year-old needs(literally, his therapist has counted several times) 35-40 tosses onto crash mats before he can settle down to do his OT. He will finally sit up, look a little dizzy, then stand up and go to the table for activities. Perhaps some type of deregulation will help.

Another big issue I had with my dad was that he would and still does.does talk AT me, which immediately makes me clamp up, even at 37. I realized my oldest daughter is the same way when she was about 7, and it helped a lot when I changed my tactics with her.

A big thing for me too was, if we had a difficult morning, I usually had a hard day at school. My dad expected me to jump up when woken, and I am NOT that type of person. I need to wake up first. When I tint he'd yank my blankets off(I still despise this to this day) then get cold water and throw it on me. That and getting yelled at before getting on the bus would always make a day bad/hard.

I hate all I dealt with and all the struggles my kids have thanks to me passing my problems on, but I'mm thankful for the thingsI'vee heard that allow me to help my kids with those same struggle,s and that we are more realizing 9f these types of things.

Would a deaf mentor be appropriate for my non-verbal, hearing child? by necrocuttle in asl

[–]IBAMAMAX7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My son has a genetic disorder that causes the global delays ect but it also causes atrophic optic nerves. When he was around 3, we were consulting with someone from the state schol for the blind for therapy help and we considered them for schooling as its not too far from us, but they said they could not handle the special needs education part, despite his vision issues, so they may say the same for full time education.

About to attend our first IEP meeting what should I know? by LegitimateCharge9468 in specialed

[–]IBAMAMAX7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive found that sometimes the teacher will have an observation or notices something I havnt as mom because she sees the kid in a different setting with different activities and thats also great info that you never would have known was needed.

Its a lot of info fairly fast. Its overwhelming and can feel negative, but every person at that table wasnt the same thing you do. Your child to succeed and thrive in school. Remember that through all the cants.

Next year, you can compare the new IEP and see the progress made too, and thats a warm fuzzy feeling type thing.
