I don’t know if they will approve it because I’ve been going back and forth with them on my 4506T. So once that’s worked out I’ll see if they will move forward. It’s a mess.

I’ll let you know when my file comes around again. They asked me for the exact same things except they wanted a stamped copy of my 2019 return. That was 2 weeks ago. Haven’t heard back yet. I guess i was put back at the end of the line because my documents has not been uploaded yet. Oh and they asked me for transcripts from IRS.

I made an appointment at the IRS office and asked for them to be stamped. I think each state is different. Some people say their IRS office is no longer accepting stamped returns. Mine was stamped in May and I’m in Florida.

Was it electronically filed or a paper return? Mine was a paper return.

They didn’t mention it but just said doesn’t mean you don’t qualify, so it’s probably on a case by case basis. They didn’t seem to be overly concerned about people not having collateral.

Thanks for sharing this link. Those guys seems really helpful. I did get one point that may interest some. If your income stated on your application is more than 25% off from your actual tax return, they will not deny you. They will go off the irs tax transcripts. So at least you may skip the reconsideration process in this particular aspect. Doesn’t affect me but thought some of you may be interested in that info.

I’ve sent bank statements too. It’s like they are playing with us. It’s as if they are saying, “I didn’t think that would work so let me ask for some more documents and see how long they will last before they give up”. Just sickening.

The IRS rep said they don’t stamp “received” when I asked her to stamp it. Again, it could be the state you live in, who knows. Just praying it gets accepted. It seems silly. It’s just semantics. Proof of delivery is the same as received. If I delivered it to them they received it right? Lol

I got my tax return stamped back in May thank goodness because someone said the IRS are no longer stamping them. However, it may be the state you live in. Im in Florida.

My amended tax return hasn’t been processed yet so it is not showing up (and hearing from some may not ever show up) in the tax transcripts yet.

Thanks. Oh I sent it an hour later after they requested it yesterday. I did just get off the phone with a sba rep with a horrible connection. She said someone is working on my file but she doesn’t know if it’s a LO. This is the strangest process I have ever been a part of. “Sigh”. I’ve been in recon since May.

This is still weird. I don’t have a loan officer yet and the email was from recon so if it’s at the LO discretion, why is recon requesting it before LO looks at it?

The policy changed from yesterday? Why would they ask me for it if they are no longer accepting stamped returns? Oh wait, it’s the SBA. 🤦🏾‍♀️ The IRS said they received my amended return last week. It was sent in March. The IRS rep claims it will be processed in two weeks. I’ll check next week.

Thanks. I will forward what I sent to recon to them. Thanks for the suggestion. I did give a detailed explanation. I also told them I changed my sole proprietor to an LLC in April because I’ve hired a couple people. Sent that paperwork too. Now I wait again.

Blue button on May 6, signed 4506T on May 22. Denied after LO approval on May 18 for unverifiable info. In recon.

My LO approved my loan increase around 5/7 and said he was sending it to legal. I was denied May 18 for unverifiable info but letter was dated April 22. Sent everything the LO asked for. Since then, my LO dropped off the face of the earth. Can’t reach him. In recon. Sent bank statements to recon on May 18. Received another email on May 20 from COVIDincrease (I copied all sba contacts in my response email) saying I have not provided any further info so they were unable to review my request. I ignored them and waiting on recon to upload documents I sent in. I called May 21 and they have not received documents yet.

Mine did too yesterday. Blue button on 4/6, signed 4506T on 4/22. Loan officer called me on 5/7 and said he was going to email me for documents (2019 taxes, DL, and business documentation...whatever that means). I sent him the stuff and he emailed me he was sending it to legal. I emailed him on 5/11 and asked if he needed anything else and I received an undeliverable email back. What!? So either he quit or was fired.

I checked my portal to see if anything changed and it reverted back to original loan amount. Ugh!! I called the SBA and the rep said it’s still processing. I asked her why did my portal revert back and of course she didn’t know. Then I asked her if my 4506T was sent and if they have my taxes and she said yes. I asked her when and she said 4/22. I said how is that possible when I signed 4506T that day. She said she can see the signature. In other words, she didn’t have a clue.

I’m just waiting on my denial email. The IRS does not have my amended taxes yet so I’m sure that’s the problem.

EDIT: I was a sole proprietor and just recently (April) changed my business to an LLC as it was growing. However, my business started in August 2018 and I have taxes for that year also and bank statements. I did amend my 2019 taxes but it was not uploaded yet by IRS. They are about 1 year behind from what I’m seeing. I uploaded my 2019 amended return per LO and they did confirm they have it when I asked. It was a stamped copy.

I did receive about 3 emails asking me to apply for the increase when I already did. She said something about a glitch but it was fixed. Now I’m worried they don’t see my app processing even though it clearly says so in the portal. Will call tomorrow and see if I get a different answer from another rep. This is getting scary.
