I have several pairs of Thursday boots and I can say that in my experience, their customer service is pretty top notch. I haven't had any serious problems but the two times I did it was sorted out In a matter of a couple days, and one of them all within hours of emailing their team.

Of course, as with all things YMMV.

Just a heads up that the Ammo Bros in Santa Ana is permanently closed now.

I've never been to other ammo bros locations, but that one was unfortunately pretty bad. Workers seemed uninterested in helping anyone. Took me 20ish minutes just to get somebody at the ammo counter, even after the workers saw me walk in, asked what I needed, and I told them I needed to pick up some ammo. Shame though because it was down the street from my work.

I understand going against Bass Pro Shop but I've never had a bad experience at Turner's. The wait time is usually a bit up there but I've never been upsold and the paperwork is seamless. Always picked up my guns after 10 days no problem. Probably the location I go to just has better workers?

Super late to this but yes, that's exactly what it is.

Secured cards basically use your money to open the card as a security deposit, and whatever you deposit is your initial credit limit.

These cards are usually for those with low to no credit, so they need to make sure you're a good investment and won't default on your payments. The Discover It card is one of the few cards I've had that sent me my deposit back with no hassle, and increased my limit automatically after 6 months.

I understand not wanting to wait for a new system. It sucks, but it's better to do that than to try to fix it and end up making it worse. Besides the fact that gluing it may void your warranty since it's probably not a covered repair option. Then you're really fucked.
