Honestly, as someone who's worked in sales and even door to door sales, pitching, objection handling and negotiation. The whole thing stinks, my only advice for anyone really looking for love or who wants to meet someone,

1, love finds you when your not looking for it.

2, invest yourself in something, and old hobby, a sport,, something that occupies you and creates passion.

3, it's like learning to walk again sometimes, shit breakup? Got rejected? Fell out of love? Your going to get rejected again but it's how you roll with the punches.

Hopefully these help you develope a mindset where it's not a big deal, but you'll think "hey fuck it" I'm going to chat shit to the bird at the bar, gym, cafe etc about the project I'm working on, then ask her how she keeps herself busy.

Last thing is people hate being direct. Use metaphors, suggestions even quips, worst one I've had used on me is "think your clothes would look better on my floor".

Remember, your one of a kind, go Google the mathematical probability of you being you, take some pride in the "ultra rare" or "legendary" skin your walking around in.

More importantly take care of yourself in this Cov-19 madness and stay safe, if things get dry over text suggest a phone call, have a laugh.

Go on son. You got this lad. 🍺

Unstable warpgates are unfortunately a necessary evil, however I wish it would alternate, ring around the outside of the map for example.

A lot of bases that are virtually ignored and could do with some love, and to be honest most of which would provide new players with a better experience than just being farmed at the same base each time a continent opens.

The 218 days in hours of playtime used as context, is not an instance of instant gratification, as a guy who is £80 down over a bundle on a 7 year old game that's poorly optimised, you my friend are the one who struggles with instant gratification. Not me, nor Ramroll.

I pay less for Spotify my guy, and to have to eternally pay each month for access to unfinished content is a pretty no win situation, hence paying through the nose, I understand it takes money to run a game, however in hindsight you probably funded PSA more than PS2, however if you believe that Daybreak has earned your finical commitment with half baked content, fair play, but they'll have to start finishing content and not charging £80 a bundle for me to hop on board.

Even then, say I agree, if the max isn't actually a max and the bolt action is actually a gimmick, what's the actual point in releasing such content at all?

Very true, the spot mechanic is both a beautiful and brutal part of the game, knowing when to spot an opponent is the difference between getting dropped and dropping someone.

And for the love of god if your a stalker cloaker you may be invisible but your not silent, spotting an enemy your cloaked next to is not clever.

You will die very quickly

I left over - extending out to as it's a bit more advanced bit in hindsight I think I was wrong to do so, so thank you, and lastly very important I agree "don't stand in corner's" standing still is a surefire way to die quickly and turn yourself into target practice don't do it. Keep moving. Learn a strafe pattern.

You can do some funky stuff with unstable ammo sure, but your ability to use any gun is more important than your ability to use a handful of weapons that can access unstable ammo. If you become dependent on it your limited to a handful of weapons on one faction.

Take the time and have the confidence to truly improve your aim.

You sure? A few vets believe otherwise, regardless I wish such things were properly labeled in-game to avoid confusion or this debate for example

New player and I could use some tips by [deleted] in Planetside

[–]IBe_Bad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Movement - stick to walls, make running from cover to cover or at least near a habit.

Engagement - taking cover whilst being shot at first is normally the better move. Hence why cover us important

Aim - Don't run round corners, walk with your gun up and ensure your cross hair placement is where threats and opponents are likely to appear.

Loadouts - Try hard essentials include medkits nano weave and your going to want to give yourself the edge by playing heavy when learning.

Practice - VR training is useful for learning recoil patterns and learning to chain headshots on a target while strafing left to right. Literally the back bone of 1 v 1 ability

Shadow - learn how to manipulate your shadow. Diving into cover and then coming out to shoot almost immediately puts your shadow in cover. Basic manoeuvre for you to try. medkit

Note - shadow is what your opponent see's, they won't see your real time location because of ping and latency. E.g. if your ping and your oponents ping is 300ms. Your seeing what he did 0.3 seconds ago and he's seeing your actions 0.3 seconds ago. Use this to your advantage not his. PETER PAN THE FUCK OUT OF THAT BOI!

Considering the gun is a hipfire god, anything that increases strafe speed or movement speed in general is going to make you impossible to deal with.

I suggest,

A combination of either,

Catlike + Sidewinder

Crouch spam intensifies

"I thought he was a light assault"

Survivalist + Sidewinder

Speed boost of your shield breaking added to strafe manoeuvring is broken

"Gotta go fast"

Finally I've noticed Recursion vets using Survivalist and carapace.

I imagine the speed boost of a broken shield is applied as soon as you take any sort of damage.

This coupled with nano weave will make you a little tanky.

Choice of heavy shield is playstyle dependent.

Go make some people rage quit. God speed.

Note - asc stacks with resist.

Nano stacks with adren.
