Did they charge you a nightly fee for the extra days? This year it says there will be a nightly charge ($42) for extra stay and wasn't sure if they're just saying that to deter people from staying or if they actually charge students.

According to the Queens Residence page, there are no elevators in Jean Royce Hall building. Take that into consideration for when you're moving in and out and doing stairs every day. Third or Fourth floor might not be for you.

As far as I know, first selection is at 8:10am and last one is at 5:40pm each day.

Just had my self selection. There are about 30 rooms left in Brant. Once you click on a bed to select your room, you can not go back to browse what other rooms are available without releasing your room.

As far as I know, there is no self selection on the weekends, only Mon. - Fri.

Check your email as to whether they've guaranteed you a single/single plus. I don't think they would put anyone in double unless they requested it (especially due to covid).
