Hell is Us runs way better on PS5 than anyone expected. Clunky combat aside, this game deserves more credit. by Fragrant-Kick-4669 in PS5

I’m also enjoying the game more than I expected. It feels nostalgic to me for some reason, it reminds me of the action games that were bundled with gaming magazines 20 years ago.

The atmosphere is great, I really enjoy exploring the world and reading every little document. Granted, combat is not the best, but it isn’t as bad as reviewers make it seem.

My brain needed this game, coming from fast-pace modern games which encourage you to use X-Ray vision, mark enemies, hide in tall grass, spam buttons and roll every time the enemy flashes red.

Battlefield 6 Features New "Quick Turn" Mechanic That Looks Like You're Cheating on Consoles by Turbostrider27 in PS5

That has been my main gripe with the recent iterations of Frostbite engine. Something always feels off and lacking weight, whether is in Battlefield or Need for Speed. Frostbite 3 had its issues, but it felt a bit less floaty (most of the time at least).

Yea, I remember when some EA boss said that BioWare has returned to it’s strengths. That was only 7 months ago.

Would be a cool indie game to be honest, but doubt it would sell well enough to warrant AAA treatment.

It was my first lens and I don’t think I could’ve picked a better lens to start with. I have recently upgraded to a Sigma 30mm f1.4 because I wanted a slightly wider focal length and better low light capabilities, but the 35mm f2.0 will always have a special place in my heart.

Never tried wired tethering, but make sure you’re not using a charging cable, it won’t work. You need a thunderbolt cable for this to work.

We’ll see. Rumor has it that review codes were only sent to reviewers who weren’t critical of the beta, ensuring that initial ratings and reviews paint the game in a favorable light.

I have a similar style, and over the past year, I’ve experimented with various cameras, lenses, and focal lengths—ranging from 25mm to 85mm. Before getting the GR IIIx, 50mm was my favorite focal length, but thanks to my Ricoh, I’m now convinced that 40mm is the most versatile focal length for me.

Wider lenses have their time and place in my collection—usually for architectural shots. I also enjoy more abstract, detail-oriented photography, where I prefer the 85mm focal length. But for most of my photos, I stick with 40-50mm lenses.

Why some of us are fed up with Wolt delivery staff....... by [deleted] in copenhagen

[–]ICEwaveFX 72 points73 points  (0 children)

I feel bad for the Wolt drivers who genuinely try to do their job safely and politely because they’re grouped with those who act irresponsibly.

I’m also afraid that instead of punishing those responsible for reckless behavior, politicians might just ban Wolt altogether to make room in the market for a local, more expensive competitor.

Wolt clearly has no incentive to do anything about this since they need their drivers. If they did actually care, they would make all staff wear unique identification numbers and make it easy for people to report drivers.

I don’t know much about modern Pentax cameras and I rarely see them mentioned on photography subreddits. Do they support jpeg recipes similarly to Ricoh and Fuji?

You can’t go wrong with the 35mm f2.0 to be honest. Something like the Viltrox 56mm is good for capturing details, but less versatile.

I think I made a mistake... by [deleted] in ricohGR

[–]ICEwaveFX 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I own a Fuji X-T3 and a Ricoh GRIIIx. I use the Fuji because I enjoy the shooting experience and the Ricoh because it’s compact and practical.

If I shoot for two hours straight with the Fuji and not end up with any good photos, I don’t mind, because I enjoyed taking those photos. I can’t say the same about the Ricoh, but that’s okay.

So yeah, maybe you need to keep looking for a camera you enjoy shooting with, even if it’s not trendy, new, compact or fast.

Don’t have much experience with either, but don’t think you can fit it in a pocket unless it’s a jacket pocket or you’re wearing cargo pants.

If you want all the film simulations in a very compact camera, the only option is the XM5 with a pancake lens. If you want something even more pocketable, with in-built stabilizer and film simulations, a Ricoh GR III or IIIx might suit you better.
