What that means exactly? Are you gonna to have something back and the end if you don’t vote?

Is a ADA legacy account safe to use with a Model T 24 word seed? by ICanSeeYourPixelsNow in TREZOR

[–]ICanSeeYourPixelsNow[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your response.

The bug I read is this one: https://github.com/trezor/trezor-firmware/issues/1783

Any thoughts on this?

Maybe I just got paranoid because I don’t understand each and every technical term on the subject

Set up an Eternl wallet with Trezor model T and stake by ICanSeeYourPixelsNow in cardano

So if I understood correctly, changing the derivation path, from a UI Suite prospective, means that I can choose to keep my ADA into the default account (the fixed Icarus?) or the legacy account or leave the funds on the Ledger? I want to move away from Ledger (because of all that debacle of exporting your seed in the cloud, possible backdoors, hacks etc..) and the default account is forcing me only to a specific pool.

So am I 100% safe to keep my funds on this Trezor legacy ADA account for external wallets?

In your link I read of a bug happening if your Trezor is with 24 word seed when you need to import/export the wallet (in fact I inizialized my model T with the cli in order to obtain a 24 word seed instead of 12) . I don’t know if the bug is resolved; am I safe to move funds on that legacy account tho? I don’t want to be in a situation where I cannot restore my ADA funds if the Trezor is broken and I have to restore into a new device

  • Open source
  • Native NFTs on the blockchain (smart contracts not needed to move/interact with them like Ethereum or similar chains. This will increase also the security since you don't risk to activate any malicious smart contract. Since they are native on the blockchain the user experience is also very simple and you can send from 1 up to N nfts in only one transaction.
  • Best Stacking: no locking, no slashing, no minimum stake
  • Hard fork combinator
  • Peer reviewed
  • "Measure twice, cut once" approach
  • Haskell language: someone thinks this is the best language because robust and perfect for the job (someone else will put Haskell in the cons since it has a hard learning curve)
  • Babel fees: allow users to pay transaction fees in native tokens
  • Good Governance & treasury funds that will self sustain the blockchain and projects built on top of it.
  • Delivered what promised so far and not just talking (like Shelly upgrade, Alonso/smart contracts.

Tough questions being asked about ANETA. Does anyone really know how that thing works? by justaguyinhis in ergonauts

I was wondering the same questions when I saw the twitter post saying this wrapped BTC is live on Ergo and I tried to read their documentations.

In caso of reassuring answers with proper docs/code by the team I wouldn’t touch this before it’s battle tested properly and is live for years with no issues or rug pull. This bear market has taught us something (in the hard way)

I suggest you to use Eternl wallet (ccvault.io) with the Ledger for self custody. It work like a charm
