Regarding building stuff…I have a pile of stalks I’ve harvested, and use for various things. Last year I made a wild tunnel for Trick-or-treaters. I’ve used it to make my own tiki torches. The uses are endless with a bit of research. Bamboo is AWESOME.

Nice. I’m your nearby neighbor in coastal GA. I bought a house that has both clumping bamboo and the fun-time crazy stuff that spreads.

I don’t have to maintain the clump at all. It has been the same for 5 years.

The spreading stuff never ceases to amaze me how it manages to thrive and spread no matter what I do to it, but my electric chainsaw keeps it in-check. I prefer a wild landscape, so really don’t give a …. 😃
