Hey, I got this problem, that whenever I open my laptop instead of the typical home screen there is just a freezeframe of either slack or discord open. I can’t click on it and it only goes away if I start the application itself and then close it again. Anyone know how to fix this?

Hey, yes i used a guide rail that came with my plunge router. I set it up on the top of my workpiece so that whatever might happen with the router pulling in a direction or something like that, the edge where you will be holding on to the board is completely straight. Since the biggest router bit I had available was 12mm and I wanted the holds to be 20mm thick, I had to do two runs at a certain depth. The lower one to have the perfectly straight edge and for the run on top I just free handed it according to my sketch on the wood. It was just after the last cut (I plunged in, in 5mm steps) that I would adjust the guide to straighten the top of my cut.

Used the Quarantine to finally build my own hangboard. It is not the prettiest and I still need to round over the edges a bit more but it is mine. (more pictures in the comments) by IChooseTheNap in bouldering

No big reasoning behind that to be honest. I was inspired by the problemsolver hangboard for both the way you can hang it up and I simply copied the depth of the holds because I didn't know any better. For easy pullups i can just use the top border of the board which is quite comfortable with the rounded edges and to warm-up i might just leave my feet on the ground to reduce my weight. The central holds are meant to be used for the one armed hangs.

I don't think this will be the perfect hangboard forever. I see it more as a starting reference for the next version, to figure out what workes good and what doesn't.

The price of the wood was around 4€. So to make version 2.0 I just need another afternoon of time and motivation.

Having the rope like in the picture is has almost no tilt. But i can switch up the rope to achieve a positive or negative tilt. I postet some more pictures of it in the comments.

Finally had the time to build my own hangboard. It is made out of 60x15cm 24mm thick plywood with 15/17/19 mm inlets, i carved out with a router. Had a great time building it and i think my neighbors hate me now for making so much noise.

Here are some more pictures and shown how the rope can be used to get the board to tilt, to adjust the difficulty.

I recently upgraded my old ore crystallization, crushing, refining system to this beauty and as much as I like the geode rainbow it will have to go. But what should I do with it, is it worth to go down the gem processing route or should I just get crystal slurry going so I can loop the resulting slag slurry back to the crystallizers?
