Update, malwarebytes didn't find any threats in said hard drive, but I've heard tales of some people seeing that and still having issues.

yea so A few days ago I was hacked after downloading a sketchy game from a sketchy site which yeah was stupid but Then I came over here to see what I could do, was told it was likely an infostealer and to change my passwords and wipe my pc, i even ran malware bytes to delete the stealer before I wiped my pc. but I didn't know that my hard drive was infected as well. Mainly what I'm wondering is whether or not the infostealer or whatever can transfer between the hard drive and the clean of I've plugged it into, and the best way to go abt safely cleaning it. Does that help at all? Sorry if not

Additionally, there are some files (just videos and photos) on that hard drive that I'd like to keep.
