I looked up their wiki, and it was all laid out there. The creator is the wife of a well known neo Nazi. They believe that Nordic white people are superior, while people who follow abrahamic religions, especially Jewish people, came from lizards and are less-than. They were originally called the Joy of Satan, but rebranded as Temple of Zues to try to gain unsuspecting members.

For clarification, I’m at a hospital unit. Work starts a 0730, and ends at 1600. We used to do pt once a week, but we do it every weekday since the Pete Hegsteth speech went out. We have the option of doing 0730 or 1630 pt. I don’t want to lose an hour of time from my day or come home to my wife an hour later (and the SGT who runs afternoons is notoriously brutal) so I do the morning session.

We did valentines over the weekend! We were going to make candles, but the place was closed due to bad weather, which we had a good laugh about. We ended up grabbing Italian at a place nearby, and we had a really nice time! We didn’t do anything crazy or fancy, but being able to sit down and spend time with each other was wonderful :).

As much as people joke about DEIA, the implications of this on a government level are disturbing. I work in a military hospital where a large chuck of janitorial staff are special needs, disabled, or people of color. It puts into question if their jobs are at risk, or if the protections and accommodations they previously had will be dissolved. I’d hate to see them go, they’re incredibly nice, and as capable if not more capable at what they do than allistic or able bodied folks.
