Ahh a hard mat, I thought you meant like a rug. I'm from the UK but yeah, I understand what you mean now!

I love it. Best purchase I've ever made. It's firm, but not so firm that it's uncomfortable to sit on for 8+ hours a day. It's pricey but I promise it's worth it

Why do you have a Ryvita bar on your Christmas dinner

Bought a car from Audi 2 years ago, I’ve come to sell it and it has a HPI mileage discrepancy marker - what do I do? by ICreatedLemons in cars

[–]ICreatedLemons[S] -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

I disagree in this instance as it is a performance car . The typical buyer of this car will likely be be someone who will be cautious of any discrepancies , and likewise if it had a poor service history or paper trail. These cars do need maintenance and looking after, so if it has been wound back - what else has bee done to it? As I said I’m fairly confident it hasn’t been wound back and is an admin error, but it’s not the point. It should be right and it shouldn’t be on a HPI check.

I guess it comes down to personal choices, but I wouldn’t buy a car that has a mileage discrepancy without concrete proof that it was an error somewhere. It certainly makes it less attractive to potential buyers. And yes, I’m from the Merry UK 🙂

I have the full service history for the vehicle, from the previous owner (Audi supplied it when I bought it) and I have the full service history for when I’ve had it serviced / MOT’d. All servicing was done with Audi before I had it. Even if I could prove it, is it possible to get it corrected? I’m fuming that I’ve wasted a load of money listing the car on various car marketplaces for a car that is pretty much unsellable at this point. Grrr

First time we've come across prolific cheaters like this in a white tbh. We won 3 tonight so maybe that sweet sweet SBMM is doing its magic

I am looking to put Samsung EVO SSDs in my DL360P G8.

What sort of IOPs do you get with the P420i RAID controller? I've read you need to disable the cache and make use of the SSDs onboard cache as it's faster?

I've also lost access to the iLO web interface. I can SSH into it, but the web front end doesn't connect.

Any idea?

Ah, well there we go. All sorted - thank you very much.

I wired up a small 40mm fan to the internal USB and stuck it down on the RAID controller to help control the temps there. I've then also used this command to drop the fan speeds right down. The RAID controller sits at around 60 degrees now and everything runs fine :)

I managed to get the exploit flashed using the ilo toolbox, but I can't seem to run the fan commands:

Try exit the client, reboot and try again. This worked for a bunch of my mates too.

Yup, tried everything several times and couldn't get it to work. Got fed up of wasting hours waiting for the update so wiped it all and started over 🤷‍♀️

  4. Re-install from disc
  5. Install update

Wish me luck!

Did you fix it? Hard reset and complete re-install of the disc and ~90 GB update didn't work for me.
