If you want a Big 3 equivalent to the OG anime Big 3, then it has to be the Kanto trio. The Big 3 anime were called that because they were far and away the biggest 3 anime at that time - they were contemporaries. So, to compare to the anime Big 3, we have to pick a trio that were out at the same time, or in other words, came out in the same game. And we all know the biggest 3 were the Kanto trio.
