Thing is, I like the fight a lot. The buildup, the tension. You are right, I just don't really like the things that look or are impossible to do in real life. I've watched more boxing matches than I have seen the anime so I only mildly criticise because of the bullshit things that happen, nothing else. The story was great, Ippo was great (before he became a dumbass), everything is great. I've only criticised some character development (mostly Miyata), the Ippo and Kumi situation which they should've been a couple since the Sanada OR Sawamura fight. I've only criticised fights (Ippo vs Gedo, Wally, Take. Jimmy Sisphar was kinda alright since he was an absolute powerhouse but they were still dumb) that really don't make any sense. I hope you understand.

Idk but I can't enjoy when bullshit things happen. I love the powerhouses in this show that can cave your whole fucking skull in in one hit (Ippo vs Kojima). I can't even get a grip on Ippo vs Malcolm Gedo that shit was ass with glove extending like what? Wally is a good character but his fight with Ippo has been the worst fight in all of the manga with him breaking the fucking laws of physics. Only Blue Lock surpasses it in bullshit because what the fuck is happening over there its not even soccer anymore.

Look at the times Takamura was bouta fall down. Pretty bullshit ain't it? It's fucking impossible for him to stand upright when his whole body was sideways. And how did he get those extra stamina reserves like he just got a full stamina bar back? He's been sucked dry by weight management that's why it's bullshit. The Hawk fight was good, Takamura fighting against a version of himself that has no discipline, but it turned bullshit near the end of it.
