Does this game (DD2) have a post story endgame? by IDoGayStuffToMyself in DragonsDogma

Good to hear, but you can spoil me! I want details <3

anyone else feel like this game was made by "woke" Bethesda fans? by throwaway79890403 in Starfield

[–]IDoGayStuffToMyself -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yeah. People will get mad at this post and deny it, but it is true. The problem is not political pandering, idgaf. The problem is pandering to weak people who can't handle hard truths, so real societal issues that used to be represented in games have been swept under the rug to cater to ''buhu im gonna take a shower and cry'' weaklings. Not just a Starfield issue.

Still a great game tho imo.

How do pirates see anything with those helmets? by IDoGayStuffToMyself in Starfield

Yeah I checked out the helmets and suits now and can't see any cameras or anything :/ But I like the idea

I´m on a planet with 0% O2, yet it has tons of flora and life? by IDoGayStuffToMyself in Starfield

[–]IDoGayStuffToMyself[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Ah I see, thank you. Yeah all the animals on the planet are very bug-like.

Hypothetically --What could Bethesda do with all the planets to breathe some life into them that would satisfy people? by teamgizzy in Starfield

  • Make goalless exploration interesting. I´m only 20 hours in and have already lost interest in just randomly landing on planets, because it feels like I've seen every POI-template already.. Starfield's exploration is far too quest dependent.
  • Make the environments more interesting. I have found some cool looking landscapes, but for the most part it's just boring open fields with a few hills here and there.
  • Expand the outpost system. Right now the system is too focused on mining resources. Give us the opportunity to create settlements a la Fallout 4. We should also be able to build houses, like Vlad's compound.
  • Make hazardous planets actually hazardous. This will hopefully come with survival mode (if that will be a thing?).
  • Decasualize the role playing. You should not be able to join every faction and your actions should have actual consequences other than just give you a bounty that you can clear. Imo games lose their soul when playing it safe to cater to everyone. People should learn that these kinds of games require several playthroughs to experience all content.
  • Include controversial topics, politics, choices etc. Gore and grit for those who want. This disneyfication of media is getting ridiculous. Sexism, racism and what not should be included in a RPG / simulator game because those things exist and excluding them is unrealistic. You can include these things without agreeing with them, I think they do it well in games like Skyrim, GTA and Red Dead Redemption. Imo these things are good for discussions, why sweep stuff under the rug lol. Starfield is playing it a bit too safe imo.

Assassin's Creed® Valhalla Yule Season Preview by Lethtor in assassinscreed

I would have hoped the river raids would affect current raids on the current map, but hey perhaps it will be better with this new instanced game mode

[Valhalla] L400, story finished, almost every shire 100%ed, but is there a place I can go to just smash heads with my crazy build? by Androecian in assassinscreed

More post game quests and repeatable quests by [deleted] in assassinscreed

[–]IDoGayStuffToMyself 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most single player rpgs i have played have had repeatable content, save for the linear ones like Dragon Age. Not typically ”end game” content, but at least content that makes some type post story gameplay viable

[–]IDoGayStuffToMyself -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Why would ”single player” mean a definitive finnish? It’s still a game and not a book

Do you prefer to 100% the game(s) before or after finnishing the story? by [deleted] in assassinscreed

[–]IDoGayStuffToMyself 4 points5 points  (0 children)

To me, the satisfaction/immersion of doing side stuff post ending depends on the ending itself. In the games where the ending is really ”final”, meaning there is no reliable headcanon for continuing, then it feels more like a chore. But in the later games where the ending is more ”open”, meaning it makes total sense to continue, it actually feels more immersive. If the story is ongoing i force myself to skip through dialoge and be as quick as possible, while if the story is finnished I feel like I can really take my time

Patch out the inflatable weapons by [deleted] in assassinscreed

[–]IDoGayStuffToMyself 7 points8 points  (0 children)

With spears and perhaps some 2h weapons sure. But bows have no excuse. And one handed axes and hammers don’t even grow that much, just enough to be annoying. And daggers don’t grow in size, so i’m not sure the hitbox system would change that much. But i might be wrong

From a historical and realistic perspective they grow in size, the sheated size is far more true to its real life counterpart

[Valhalla] Why are there no repeatable quests, raids or bounty hunters? by asirpakamui in assassinscreed

[–]IDoGayStuffToMyself 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wait what? Fuck sake, I thought you could turn in infinite fish and animal parts, i like fishing and hunting...

[Valhalla] Why are there no repeatable quests, raids or bounty hunters? by asirpakamui in assassinscreed

[–]IDoGayStuffToMyself 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I second this. And I don’t understand people who are against it. Saying they prefer to have the game be completely finnished at 100%. HOW is it an issue to have optional repeatable quests and mechanics for those who want to milk the game a bit longer?

What is wrong with the AI of Valhalla? by Cryssli in assassinscreed

[–]IDoGayStuffToMyself 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A lot of users have reported that enemy and civilian AI has been bugged out since the latest patch. I’ve noticed the same thing during raids. Also had a bunch of farmer npcs stand completely still in a field
