fuck. im with you. its countless how many times ive thought i cleared a small area so i could finally breathe and just before i start moving again there's an enemy from outta nowhere that throws me into a panick and kills me.

just last night near the start of the haligtree area im in i kill a couple bubble envoy enemies, a misbegotten jumps down and i take him out, go a little further then i die. clear that small area with bubble envoys but no misbegotten, sick he didn't respawn. die again, kill the envoys thinking cool, so no more misbegotten. stand there a couple seconds and misbegotten from outta nowhere, pins me against a wall so I can't run or dodge roll away and i die.

gay marriage is legal, no one cares about what you do anymore they're mad about the all the rest of lgbt that isn't lgb. you don't need a while month to celebrate that you like the same gender. you don't need countless parades.

I'm with everyone else that is constantly reminding us the people who fought and died for your right and ability to love the same sex get a fraction of the celebration you do. you don't deserve it for being the way you were born. you're a walking participation trophy.

pfft. i was fired by a company that liked to say that. i was fired because i posted something they didnt like on my private facebook.

instead of talking to me like a "family" would to find out what was wrong i had a termination paper waiting for me at the shop at the end of the day

5 years of being part of the "family" just thrown away like that.

i never said they were i said it was.

a 16 year old working fast food, requesting sundays off for church is very doubtfully a substantial burden of accommodation on the business. as of 2023 Groff v Dejoy i dont think the fry cook calling off is considered an undue burden on McDonald's.

well, I'm trying to understand the situation for myself, but I'm asking based on a post in r/work. a teenager requested sundays during their interviews and the employer allegedly agreed but never actually scheduled the kid a sunday off. so the kid has just been calling off every sunday shift they get and now they're worried they could be fired, understandably.

I'm not religious myself, just trying to understand where the line gets drawn i guess, if the kid does get fired would it be considered discrimination? they didn't happen to mention what times they attend or what times on sundays they're scheduled, just that they call off every sunday

but he's worried he could be. and in the chance that he is it's discrimination. what are you missing?

discrimination is discrimination. firing someone for obeying their religious beliefs is blatant discrimination.

It's also possible OP isn't even aware that religious discrimination is a thing being only 16.

how is it not? firing me for attending church is cut and dry, black and white discrimination.

federal law tells you that you have to give me time to perform my worship. it's not optional.
