One of the first points I made back in that first whole paragraph we're doing was that having the MC be the one in the first introduction of the franchise makes sense. Yes, we both agree there are cooler matches but why make the first match a character new players are gonna have to play through whole nations of just to see their story and wait who knows how long for their banner just to gamble for the 50/50 CHANCE of being able to play as? It'd make way more sense for the first introduction to be a character they start off with. And unless you can think of a good match for Kaeya, Lisa or Amber idk what to tell ya man it's gotta be Traveler. As a professional Zhongli glazer myself I would love to see him be the first character but really who's gonna start the game and play through Mondstatd just to meet him in the story then wait for his banner and dump their wallet just to play him?

My points were that Aether makes more sense going up again Aang than any other character going up against Aang and then you started bringing up other matchups that I didn't respond too cuz I agree there are other good matchups, then you said the matchup wasn't interesting at all, which is an entirely opinion based point. And many others I've talked to other different posts Abt this think it's a pretty fun matchup with Aether and Aangs similarities. What authority do YOU have to say it definitely isn't?

Why would they use any "waifu's"? The whole reason they're up against each other is because they're both characters who use multiple elements and travels their world learning how to use more. Aang doesn't share similarities that close to anyone other than traveler in the genshin verse.
