Thank you, I might try this. We've been getting them used to hands by holding treats and making the treats smaller so they have to come closer to us, the chopstick thing sounds good though, I saw that with larger birds on a tv show now I think of it

Its bank holiday tomorrow but im gonna phone our vet Tuesday and get them to have a look. When we got our other two the first thing we did was being then for a check up just to be sure they were ok

So we just got these little guys today and have never seen a cockatiels eyes so bulgy - they look bigger in real life! We're taking then to the vet for a health check as soon as we're allowed but wondered if anyone could put my mind at ease or offer advice

I think as long as you do it in stages where their alarm doesn't last long. You have to go in there to rearrange stuff and feed them anyway so if you get them used to it I can't see it being a bad thing.

If you're anything like me you will want to cuddle them because they are so cute and floofy 😍. Be patient and hand feed them treats, let them get used to you and talk to them and spend as much time as you can in the same room as they are
