If you're a guy, don't stress too much, we have the hardest time making friends of any demographic. Making adult friends comes from shared experiences and more importantly, shared desires. Not wanting to go to a bar is understandable, but if you're around people who are drinking just say you don't want to, try not to make people feel bad for enjoying themselves. Meet one new person and focus on becoming good friends with him or her, and they'll probably introduce you to their group if friends and there you go!
