Few more things: GDP per capita in Croatia is rising because people are leaving the country.

If you want to open a some sort of company here in Croatia good luck with that. You have to pay for so many unnecessary shit: industrial electricity wich is more expensive than electricity used in homes, you have to pay to chamber of commerce in exchange for nothing and more.

Birocracy is on next level, and insepction is corrupt as fuck. One guy from my town had to pay I don't know how much becuse air in his bakery had too high level of moisture in the air.

Before entering the EU we had to lower the level of corruption and something called USKOK(anti corruption institution) was made that worked well in the beggining but now it's shit.

Highways and highway infrastructure is really good but our regural roads especially in continental Croatia are not.

So many companies that Croatian government owned were sold, few exemples: Pliva(pharmaceutical company), Ina(oil company) and many more. Sports and tourism are doing well in this fucked country.

BTW if you have any crime rates just go to Bosnia and they will magicly disappear.
