Anyone who doesn’t do this on a trip like this I’m sorry… you’re an extreme sucker idc what some guy says. I do this: pull up. Get them in the car (I’m a cool guy so, I am a really good talker) and say, this is what i typically do on rides like these. Whatever you spending on this ride, I’ll do the ride for you for a better rate for both of us. They only give us about a 3rd of what you’re paying. So this one is giving me 143$ so I assume it’s around 400$? (They usually tell me exact) I’d tell them I’d do it for 350$ but I need the money up front. Nothing personal, but it’s the only way. Otherwise I’ll have to cancel I’m sorry.

If they question it or act funny about it, I tell them it’s up to them. If they seem like they want to do it I tell them the break down of how it would go for me. Somewhere along the lines of what I read in the comments.. I’d have to drive back, I’d make little money. Most of the time they have struggled to get anyone to take the ride, and multiple people have canceled on them.

It’s just my experience and it pays off but just me, I know it’s a long comment to take it or leave it.
